Yea, I have seen people posting they would not buy from someone else for decades and it never affected anyones business and it's all hogwash/blither anyway. I've actually seen people say that and go back the next day. lol.

When you are old enough to shave and get some experience in the business, you will see what I mean.

But since I have a record of thousands of great sales and never a legitimate complaint, I am quite confident my great reputation will keep people coming back time and time again.

Well unless you treat them better than you do the folks on here... you wont have to worry bout dropping any accounts... casue they will drop you. However they wont have a legitmate complaint... as we all know.

If you really dont care how other people view the info here... fine. If you think you are above it all... fine.. and if you want to disreguard my logic... so be it. But quite frankly...your the only one you are hurting.

It is sooo easy to say... he is a scammer then post proof just like everyone else... case closed... he has been proven to be a scammer. (If you did this...then I would even take your side) however... all you want to do is come on here and throw out acusations (with no proof) and call folks names and try to degrade them. Who said I did not care what people view from here? You said that, not me.

I said I don't put much weight behind folks who make such statements as it never proved anything and never harmed anyone's business. If you think otherwise, then that is fine with me.

And you are discounting that readers are smart enough to weed through the bull presented by idiots and they can see that terms of sale were met and scammers tried to take advantage. If not, who needs a moron for a customer.

And if coming across sharp and offensive keeps thieves and scammers away, then that is fine as all I want is great customers.

But how do you think I should I handle myself here? Bow down to the morons who twist events of a transaction despite the terms of sale were met? Say thank you when I offer someone a free skink and another boob calls me scum? Thanks, but I have fun proving the jerks wrong. And by the way, I did offer the skink, did offer viper boas, and gave a guy an emerald and gave another guy a frenata and his friend tried to make me pay for it. I really find the humor behind people asking me to pay for something I gave them for free.

I treat customers great but treat scammers and thieves differently. As far as I am concerned, the mere 2-3 folks that filed a bogus complaint were after more than the terms of sale - and that was after I extended the guarantee to offer something more than the terms of sale. As be it, their sob story was buried as is your conjecture that any of it will lessen any business. On the contrary, if I viewed a seller offering items beyond the terms of sale, I would go with that fellow. If you decline, it is your mistake in judgement.

My advice to you is to always stand up for yourself when you are right and do not allow the name callers to get you down. Nothing anyone could say or do about a sale you make would harm your business unless you were an out-right thief who would not be allowed to make funds transactions. Other than that, if you respect your customer, you will be fine.

Personally I think the majority of the nasty posters are insane. Why would they assume anyone would do anyone wrong if they have to debate it on this forum? Anyone typically in the business knows that if they screw anyone else over, it will be here, so why anyone would try to do such a thing is crazy especially when the focus should be on placing cute animals in great homes and not debating whether someone knew a frog had a pimple or not.

Accusation thrower? Nope. Read the threads and see how I offered animals above the terms of sale and then make your decisions. I think you are speaking without doing your home work. I typically would call your statements without homework idiotic but you have been decent so won't call it that. And dig deeper and discover the same few that tried to pull crap on other dealers and see how you feel over the issue.

Clearly I wouldn't be buying all of it, but definitely the tree boas, and the Pygmy Chameleons, but since you present yourself in the way you do, I have no desire to do business with you. As a chef you learn that presentation is a huge factor in how people perceive things, and you clearly project a specific presentation, that for the mods sake, I won't mention.

As for the anger comment--as I mentioned earlier---you are an enigma to me. You go off on people sometimes for no reason but I've lurked on this board for years---I've posted a bit----but consistently you represent like my Crazy Uncle Ed who snuck out the back door of the "home". I'm jealous of you!! Because you obviously don't need any extra money--at all. I'm not being a smart alec with that comment--but you really and truly must not need any extra money.

I owned my own online coral propagation business for a couple years. I sold mostly through ebay and web forums. It was a passion turned business. I met quite a few a-holes along the way---many of which through "the forums". I would occasionally "go off" on someone who deserved it---I mean really deserved it----and it felt great. But you do that to almost everybody! (Except for the "moment" you and I shared earlier.)

Anyway---one of the parts of me being your biggest fan is that I was trying to figure out if you were a "white haired old man grouch" or a "probably as old as my dad grouch".

Your presentation may be to antagonize the regulars, but you fail to see the collateral damage it causes. For the record, I posted animals you currently have for sale, that I would be interested in, if they were someone else's. I found each of the listed animal on sale from other dealers, who don't make asses of themselves in public.

That's your misperception as there is and never will be any collateral damage as I treat my customers great and give a good boot to the scammers.

And no offense, but if you lack the intellect to gather I am messing with folk, then perhaps later when you have been around it 10 years or more, you will understand. Or perhaps even do some homework in figure out why I might bite first, and then you may have some valuable information to make a comment as something in your head ought to make you ponder as to why this fellow is so offensive. I have been nice and nice only leads to more idiots/jerks jumping your case. If I call them idiots and morons and provide evidence they are morons, they tuck tail and run/hide and that is fine with me.

And of course I know of ramifications of standing up to the few morons here - it leads to great business with great people and deters the scammers, hence why I am not shy to make it known that I have little patients for scammers or loud mouths etc.

There is no damage as you joking speculate. Rather so, sales increase. If you think anything anyone ever says or I said affects business, then why is it that sales increase each month? I run around 100 advertisements daily and find it quite a challenge to keep up with the business I receive, so what is your justification behind your speculation (hey, I am a rapper now) ? You have no justification, and you are just brainwashed to think if some moron says something negative or joking to someone else that will damage business. It does not. Smart readers can fish through the crap and its actually an insult to them if you think they cannot figure it out despite it may initially turn you off.

Regardless, In the mere few bogus bad threads I had, the buyers were proven to have been offered items above and beyond the terms of sale, so it was good advertisement for my company.

I have a great reputation of many fine sales and if that is a source of bother for you, then I don't know what else to tell you except live with it.

How many references do you have backing up the "many fine sales"? Do they equal the amount of bad sales you have too? Your reputation here is shot Dan, I see so many against you than for you. Well as you know, I have been selling reptiles on and off for nearly 30 years and never had a single bad sale nor any report of any arrival of any sick animal, so your statements are bogus as usual. I used to breed many species of rats, boas, kings, etc in the 80's and 90's and sold the offspring wholesale to vendors who had tables at shows or to pet shops. Had a large reptile room in Indonesia for 3 years and bred many species of python when I worked for there 3 years. Travelled for herps in Australia, New Zealand, Java, Europe, Malaysia, Thailand, Borneo, Singapore, Sumatra, Komodo, Bali, and a dozen other countries in search of reptiles and had a blast. Had a great opportunity to rattlesnake hunt with Bill Haast as a kid in the mid 70's and loved reptiles since I was 5. Work with me for a day or so and you would flip over my experience with herps.

How about you? What qualifies you to judge people? A gecko sale?

What bad sales are you talking about? The boa that arrived strangled was replaced with a refund the same day, and that was a mistake bagging two hungry boas. What many bad reports? A kid who force fed a snail eating skink a pinky rodents and was offered a replacement despite he did not stop at my many emails to not do that? You call that bad? LOL. Yea, I was bad to offer to replace a skink the kid killed. The fellow I gave a free frenata and his friend called to ask me to pay him for it? Oh, that one. You want me to pay for a snake I gave away free? The guy I gave a free emerald and he fed it heavy rat pups against advice and caused it to puke. Oh, that one? The guy who burned viper boas a week after he got them and I offered replacements? Oh, I forgot that one. And as you know I was quick to stomp the few mere folks that tried to scam and their tactics failed them is all. And had several thousand great sales over the years and never a single report of any arrival of any sick or dead reptile.

Why not explain all of the thousands of great sales you had? Or did you sell a couple geckos in your day and that qualifies you to judge others?

Why not telephone some of the great zoos across the country and ask them about the quality of the animals I supply? Do you supply zoos? Have your reptile rooms been inspected by vets and staff from zoos to qualify as a vendor for them? I have. I am packing reptiles for zoos as we speak so give them a call and see how their display of my animals is hurting the eyes of the many public that views them.
