In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Did you not know that once frozen a definitive cause of death cannot always be determined? This was pointed out to you in your "other" thread.

Are you reading the posts people are making or just typing and hitting enter?

You CANNOT determine exact cause of death if the body has been frozen.

Then he should have sent it back last monday, 12 hours after it died and it would not have needed to be frozen.

If the vet cannot find a reason of death they can at least be able to tell if t he animal was sick before it died or injured in anyway and the amount of fat mass on the reptile

just show the vet your original photo. He'll be able to tell you it was sick before it died, and that there was no fat, just like everyone on this board can see.

As previously state MY photo was taken August 1st when the dragon was a little over 5 months old, he was about 50 grams heavier when I sent him out than in that photo

My digital camera died and I just got a new one for my birthday this weekend so I had no current pics of the dragon at 8 months old

yea yea yea, thats everyones excuse. you already have said 50 times it was 140 grams, oddly enough you still dont say the weight all you say is about 50 grams ONLY now. not once ever in the whole conversation int he other thread. the only reason your saying that now is that we all told you a million times what it should weigh so your using that info to help your lies.

YOU are so FULL OF IT he was 146.5 grams when shipped, my pics were in August with the august ad here on fauna, in august the dragon was about 50 grams lighter than when he was shipped. He was a little over 5 months old in august and 100 grams

HE was almost 150 grams the day he was shipped, I haev stated over and over that my digital camera had died and

my pics were from AUGUST when HE WAS SMALLER THAN HE WAS WHEN TRADED TO DAN

Typed that one for you SLOWLY so it would not go over your head this time

I think its common sense that since my pics were in August that he was smaller in my pics than an 8 month old should be since my pics were almot 3 months old!

It does matter, you have all replied to me in a negative way as well as to Dan in a negative way

All the post on both threada are against me.

dan is not perfect either, takes poor care in judgement, poor care in breeding etc!

Post here about HIM, is that so hard?

If it is I can copy and paste all of his mistakes here so that people know Im not the only person in the universe to make a mistake!

definately the most unhealthy dragon I've ever seen. Stupid stupid woman.......

Agreed..... can you believe someone actually wanted it?

Someone saw that picture and agreed to send one of their animals as a trade for it.

Someone, Dan Quinn, felt that animal was acceptable.

It is ashame that when it died in his care, it was no longer acceptable.

No matter how idiotic and irresponsible Wendy is.... Dan is not stupid.

Dan needs to accept responsibility. Not for the health of the animal, but for actively seeking out such an unhealthy animal.

OK, I'll post about him...

well,he bought a malnourished animal from you!He trusted you to sell him a animal that he wanted and you send him a dying animal. The only thumbsdown that should be shown should be directed at you!!!

i just loved how she uses those pictures in her defense. she wants to speculate on the care of dans animals, aspca see's her pics of animals for sale or trade she would be in some trouble. saddest part is if dan didnt get it someone else might have.....

remember the other 2 pictured on the other thread she sold. one had a homemade splint at that.

I would like to apologize to Dan for situation with the bearded dragon and thinking he had in some way caused its death.

After doing a ton of research it appears the dragon most likely had hook worms, I had no idea that a dragon would gain weight and grow with a parasite infection. He had went from 130 grams in Sept to 146 in Oct

I want to thank some very nice breeders who contacted me privately and explained very nicely what they thought was wrong with the dragon and the indications I should have seen and explained to me what I had done wrong in the husbandry and care of the dragon.

I have ordered the book Understanding reptile parasites and diseases so that in the future I will be more educated on health problems. I had no idea that the over drinking of water pointed to parasites which would have helped me know he was in some way not healthy.

I would also like to thank Dan for his recent help with some leopard gecko questions I had. I had asked a couple of breeders and did get answers but not complete answers and asked Dan for help, he in no way owed me anything by helping me but responded super fast and completely answered the questions I had and was truly very nice in answering the questions.

I am sorry I was not educated enough to know there was a problem with the dragon and I hope it in no way affected any of his current stock of reptiles.
