    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

the reason i jumped that conclusion is that you did agree to the shipping method. i mean c'mon anyone with sense would have backed away from the deal if the person doing the deal cant meet a safe shipping method. wasnt like he said he sent it deltadash and you awoke with a ups guy at the door, you knew how he sent it.

the funniest part is i wouldnt even have jumped on here and said anything. BUT i have several good friends of mine who work at ups, so it kinda angers me that people like you 2 put my friends lives in danger with the kinda stuff you pulled.

i do agree with serpent boy and i believe he sent a live reptile. like i said friends of mine work at ups and they have had some horror stories whats happened to people's packages in ups and loading them.

i also do find it funny dan will only talk to individual people in private over the phone or e-mail. seems like if you wanted to prove youself it would be here for all the other people who did read this, but didnt make a comment.

either way im done commenting, i just find it really funny both of you admit to breaking laws on such a permanant site such as this............................

I am not sure if you read all of my posts because your asking me to repeat information that I already provided you so perhaps you should give me a call or provide your number and a convenient time you would like to discuss this matter.

As to your inquiry’s, the photo of the snake was taken ten minutes after I received the package at my home. Serpentboy was on the telephone at the approximate time the photo was taken, however he adamantly refused to speak to my reference that was steps away. And are you forgetting that I already stated that Serpentboy confessed to sending the dead snake.

Speculating about its condition is useless as you already know that reptile business people see a few hundred snakes a day and it was perhaps difficult for my reference to even recall this insignificant matter that he had not part of in the first place. And I hope you can respect that I have asked that he not be mentioned again as he is a very well respected businessman who only helped a friend and had his name and business defamed as a result of Serpentboy’s treachery.

Do you have any interests with this Serpentboy? Is he providing you copperheads or any snakes at your institute? If not, then be glad about it, if so, then I can understand your wording to somehow cover his butt, but maybe I am off on that perception, and if I am, then then I apologize.

I did not mean to offend you with that professor remark and I did earn my Master’s many years ago and will eventually get off my butt one day and earn my doctorate. I am not in the least concerned with clearing my name, it was the name of my reference that was tarnished not mine. And if you have time, I can give you some of my references who are top names in the herp industry and know that I am often too strict by my code of never tolerating anyone who lies, cheats, or steels. By the way, you should give me a call especially if your interested in many exotic snakes because I have one of the best collections in the country.

You keep saying proof has been posted...WHERE? All i've read is a lot of insults and wild claims, Post the pic, Ben says you have it so what's the holdup? Your witness can't even say it was dead before shipping yet you claim it was rotting and putrid, sounds like a big difference of opinion between your witness and yourself. Serpentboy may be lying, I don't know, if you can prove it do it.

Both Dan and Ben note that there was some sort of problem with the tail on the snake. There is some mention of 'flattening' and more about it being a stub. Please correct me if I am wrong, but the snake, in the photo provided by mike, appears to have a normal tail. Is the photo a fake? I wouldn't put it past serpentboy...

I did not see that pic you are refering to but let me know where it is and I will look at it. Yes, the snake was a stub-tailed snake and it was flattend in the rear section due to being overwhelmed with disease and thus its skin was shrunken to the bones. I felt so bad that this criminal used its dead body to get gain other snakes to make money.

Dan, You have to give me (us) more than your statement that he confessed. I have read the whole post, and not only has he not confessed anywhere in it, he states that he paid you for the snake. Is this true? If so, why are we going on with this? I believe that from a strictly legal standpoint that the "confession" would be "hearsay evidence". You have come asking for a conviction, you will need more than that.

David, oh, I see what you are asking for.

I will try to make this short.

When I received this stinking poor dead and diseased creature and it dawned on me after a few minutes that this thing had been dead for a few days and perhaps was in some sorta defrosted position in the cup because I defrost snakes all the time to feed to my snake eaters, which are not cobras, but false coral snakes. I will also tell you that he also send five baby earth snakes in box but in a different container as food and they were all healthy and so was a brown snake that dropped babies in the cup and they were all hydrated and happy. He thought he could fool me by sending food with this dead snake.

Anyhow, I telephoned Serbentboy. I hammered him on the phone like no tomorrow. He pleaded at first that he shipped a live snake. That plead went from live snake to a snake that had not eaten much lately, to a plead that the snake sorta looked skinny to him. And on and on he went to finally admit he thought it might be sickened.

Then I used a different approach and told him that several reptile dealers have been known to ship dead and defrosted snakes and this snake was dead days before it was shipped or defrosted and kinda changed the tone of the conversation to laughter and I laughed that he sure pulled a good one on me.

He then started to repeating please don't tell anyone, please don't tell anyone and sounded like a baby. After a few more minutes of laughter interrupted by interrogation, I told him that I wanted him to admit what he did, and I would not report him to kingsnake.com. He then admitted that he sent the snake in its dead state but continued his wording in a bribe sense with offers of hognose snakes or copperheads and named a ton of other stuff as the kid was stepping over his words he was so scared and shaken.

If you would like to speak with me over the telephone, I would be glad to provide further details and put you in touch with reptuable people and/or people you might know who took a close look and smelt the poor dead creature the day it was received. Thanks for your inquiry, perhaps it cleared some things up.

I really don't know which of the two of you are correct, and as others have stated, it'll probably never come to light (the truth)

What I can tell you is:

* Why should I waste MY TIME to allow you to clear up your name? I know that if someone was trying to tarnish my reputation (and thats really all that any of us have...) that I would gladly post any evidence to clear my name.

* Throwing around the insults and other nonsense comments (by both of you) is doing NO GOOD to either of your reputations... remember: people take note! When you're online, the only representation that you've got is how you present yourself.

* Dan, you continually keep adding details to your posts and then claim them to be ROCK SOLID PROOF... that is far from the case. I can't understand how you expect people to accept YOUR word as good as gold.

Anyways, this has been an interesting 19 pages of reading, and I did it all hoping to finally find a conclusion (showing my ignorance here... :) )

PS, keep in mind that I completely avoided the shipping methods as that could easily turn into a 50+ page thread... if this one doesn't!

Good luck and I suggest that you both cut your losses as you are only driving both of your names further down the ruputability list.

Other than that he got paid.. & I got the snakes I paid for.. No Big loss.. ur right about the 50+ page thing on the shipping methods used.. I can only say it so many times I admit I made a very poor choice and I totally regret it.... & im very open to construstive critisim(spelling)... I just want to continue to do what I love and that is keep,collect&breed my snakes... And make a buck or 2 doing it... & keeping the ppl that buy from me happy... i just spent 30 minutes reading through this junk so i have to post something, First Ben's name in a "bad guy" post got my attention and i don't read bad guy junk EVER! i went back and forth "dan is a jerk" "Mike is a liar" this is what I've gathered, <br>

I think he is honest and made a big mistake and was childish and hopefully learned a lesson but i honestly believe the snake was alive. i think he knew he screwed up in his shipping and tried to make it right by paying for the snakes. <br>

Ben took a PIC but now he doesn't have it? i have PICS of snakes from DOA from 1999 just for record. i got DOA snakes in my freezer as well. if someone screws you don't delete the pic?

Dan was very aware and asked it be shipped that way to avoid the airport hassle... So I my self on my on free will made the very poor,dumb careless mistake of doing so.... & am not afraid to admit so. Knowing ne1 at any time of any law enforcement or anyone in genral for that matter can read what I have to say...... Mike Clark.

pretty amazing how long&drawn out this has become:eek: ,i will say that i did see the snake in question and it was very healthy,its the very speciman pictured/posted by serpentboy,ben took a pic dan has the pic?wtf?:( , dan do you know how to post a pic?do you need help doing so?you say youve been around so long and are so educated and affiliated w/proffesors,dealers,& yet ive never heard of you? and ive been pretty active in the herp hobby for 20+years, but that doesnt really mean anything, my point is after reading all of this CRAP! is,,you were paid and you had knowledge of if not initiated the shipping method used,i understand being upset as i to would be but there is a burden of proof you must provide,pics,corpse,SOMETHING! besides your plee's of folks to call you?why?you have shown nothing but that you can type!ALLOT!YET SAY NOTHING?,and i can attest that i saw the snake in question aprox 1week before it was shipped/traded whatever and it was very healthy and beautiful, and knowing mike in the time i have(approx1year) i strongly doubt, no i know he would not send a dead snake!.period.

A victim of a crime (me) enters this forum to assist a friend that was willfully defamed by a questionable thief (Serpentboy) and the victim receives additional speculation from the frauds associates. And this is after the fraud has admitted to sending money for my snakes without ever seeing a picture of the dead snake he states he did not send dead in the first place.

Did any reader actually believe that I entered this thread the day after it was created with a briefcase of evidence standing by? Did any reader actually think I would present such evidence other than under Serpentboy’s name and again fall into Serpentboy’s entrapment and keep the evidence from a search under his name? Serpentboy admits to mailing the money for the dead snake the next day without seeing a picture and inquires ask for a picture? Who is being blind here? I do not require an answer for my questions.

The time for Serpentboy’s confession has expired. A post under Serpentboy’s name will be made in the next few weeks that will include photos of his fraud and thievery.

Much evidence is being assembled and prepared for the posting, so it will be another terrific opportunity for Serpentboy and his cohorts to dispute actual photos of the dead snake in its dead upside-down position and testimony from well-known and reputable eyewitnesses that will attest to the following facts:

1. That the next day after Serpentboy sent the snake, it was received dead and stinking and exhibited obvious tell-tale signs that it succumbed to a slow death from a disease and had a stub-tail.
2. That on the same day the snake was received, the witnesses were informed that Serpentboy confessed to knowingly sending a dead snake in the first place.
3. That Serpentboy conned to bribe with a pair of hognose snakes, and mailed the money for my snakes out the next day without ever seeing a picture or receiving the corps back.

And I thank those who took the initiative to telephone me and provide guidance and discuss the facts involved in this matter. All of your advice was invaluable, and it will help aid other consumers to sort out the criminals in this industry.

I could use additional help piecing this information together to reduce the amount of speculation and time necessary to respond to such speculation, so if there are any interested individuals experienced in these matters, I would greatly appreciate your recommendations. P.S. Serpentboy, although you know that my reference’s photo was not able to download, I was experienced enough to take two photos before I mailed the snake back to you. And you did not ask for those photos then because you know you admitted to sending a dead snake in the first place. If you do not believe me that I have the photos, would you risk that on never selling another snake again to the public? I thought not.
