you say that the snake was deceased and "ROTTING" when you received it.
and the witness you provided say that it may have died in shipping.... that is a big difference there.

Besides did you not get paid for it anyway?

So what is the proof you are now trying to get your inteligence people to get?
What proof are they going to come up with?

A victim of a crime (me) enters this forum to assist a friend that was willfully defamed by a questionable thief (Serpentboy) and the victim receives additional speculation from the frauds associates.

1. You are not a victim of crime. Did you or did you not accept money for the "dead" snake.
2. NO ONE defamed your "friend" . It is clear to everyone this is not about Ben Siegel. Ben has impecable character and I tell everyone I can about him. I refer ANYONE who is looking for a snake to go and contact BEN. Anyone who e-mails me looking for a snake will get Ben's contact info......unless I know the snake is available elsewhere. THIS IS NOT about Ben.
3. I am NOT his associate. I am after the truth.

Did any reader actually believe that I entered this thread the day after it was created with a briefcase of evidence standing by?

No, but here it is exactly 2 months later and you still can't post a picture of a DEAD snake.
You say you chopped off the head so he can't send the snake to anyone else....... But if it was ROTTING, how can he send it to anyone else.

That on the same day the snake was received, the witnesses were informed that Serpentboy confessed to knowingly sending a dead snake in the first place.

Perhaps I missed it... Which witnesses are those? Did you subpoena them?


All I wanted to see were the pictures.
No pictures downloaded.
No pictures that you took ....Nothing ever shown.
and yet you talk about having all these facts.

!!! Ok enough quotes. I would just like to say I am a friend of Mike's we have been on many herping trips together our wives are friends ,our kids play together. He is not the maggot ,nor "lol" criminal mastermind. I agree he should of paid David back just to keep his good name that he surely was making for himself. I feel as though if any of you ran into Mike in a club or a bar and sat next to him and had a drink not knowing he was serpentboy. You would say to yourself "this is someone I could see myself being friends with" Mike & his wife are cooler than the other side of my pillow. They are so down to earth they are underground.!!!! Mike has a very insane collection @ his home and will be producing some awesome offspring this yr. and I would like to see him thrive in this hobby/bizz just as he has been doing. I'd just like to see him "EARN" HIS REP BACK. because you are not gonna chase Mike out of this hobby he will be in it long after alot of you old timers have already kicked the bucket. I figured my buddy Don said and quoted it pretty well so I just copy and pasted his post here. I will add 1 of my own. Dan you know you asked that snake to be shipped that way please just admit it. You did not want to go through the hassle of the airport and shipping costs etc... "hell" they will prolly just think it is a lil old milk snake you remember telling me those words.? Yes you do. Dan can try to make himself look like a good guy all he wants with his well long rehearsed speeches everyone knows you were fully aware of that snake coming to you via ground. I've stated my opinion on Dan, but I do not even want to BEGIN on Mike.

I'll say ONE thing though. Anyone who ships hots thru ground carriers deserves to put down, Literally. I have absolutely no respect for those who do this, and there is NEVER any excuse whatsoever. ANYONE knowledgable enough to acquire one certainly knows there are restrictions in shipping them. There is no excuse in this situation, just plain stupid ignorance. You should be shot.

Dan, this will be my last post on this topic as I truly believe that there is nothing of merit left to contribute. The bottom line is that I stand behind all of the statements in my previous two posts with one exception. If you do not specialize in hots than that was erroneous. However, I took that statement directly from one of Ben's posts in your first thread.

first let me say i know mike(serpentboy) for about allmost a year now,and he is a nice guy who cares greatly about herps and his business,that being said i remember when this deal was happening because mike asked me what i thought,i told him i wouldnt ship a hot thru the private carriers.and that was pretty much it until a few weeks later mike called me told me he shipped the snake and did the trade but that the guy had said it arrived doa,well first i said dude ya screwed up shipping a hot that way &2nd ,
why?,
he explained the guy worked for ben yadayada has and did receive and ship hots thru the private carriers and explained step by step how to pack it.and they both wanted the trade yadayada,,well it was wrong no one disputes that i beleive mike learned his lesson and will not ship hots thru the private carriers,now aside from all that mike just paid the guy for the snakes he got yep just paid him no corpse,no photo,no proof just said screw it and paid cash for the snakes he received.and i assume considered a lesson learned and done deal,
now apparently this guy wants something for nothing and wants to use the fact that mike shipped a hot thru a private carrier as a blackmail tactic, i was at mikes house last nite ive seen some of the emails from this danscarlo guy GEEZ,enuff to get a grown man fighting mad, and like i said mike cares greatly for herps and his business and was just at wits end w/the threats from this guy and thus this post.
i suppose some will say im bias because me and mike are friends but in the time ive known him & the deals ive personally had and deals that i have witnessed him make, i can honestly say he is a good guy with great animals that he stands behind.[QUOTE

Well, some guy, a former employee and reptile business owner himself has contacted me and against my advice he said he will post information that he saw the dead rotting snake, was informed the same day Mike Clark admitted to sending it dead and the bribe.

Hey Dan, David here from Huntsville, Alabama the one who told you about the scarlet kings in Florida.....I am sorry you got ripped by Mike Clark(serpentboy) I did a deal with him and it was OK, I got the snakes I was supposed to get and they were all fine.
