Responsible people" possibly loosing their whole collections because they bought a snake from someone who got their snake from Dan. How he is not worried sick right now is beyond me.

Dan was chastised mightily throughout for all of his "silly antics and cockiness". Overwhelmingly so, I do believe.

Secondly, that "nobody comes out the winner" is to fail to see the value of a thread such as this, and the BOI in general. As an example, let me site "fire prevention". Hard to measure immediate benefit from it, but over the long haul, statistics will show that effective fire prevention is measured by less fires. Don't know exactly whose house didn't burn down because someone properly kept matches from the kids, but it surely has happened. Its all about a smarter customer.

I agree that he was told over and over about his behavior on this thread. He chose to believe that everyone was just picking on him. What I meant was too bad, that the people that were calling and emailing him didn't tell him to take this more seriously. He seemed to value their opinion.
Also, I do agree with you about the long run of things. But I wasn't talking about the long run. What I meant was that I am sure all of us would love to see him proven wrong. He acted so smug saying that there is no IBD No CIA No FBI and so on. Like it was a big joke. But to prove him wrong would mean that the snake did indeed have IBD and we know the outcome to that could be horrible for a lot of people. Nobody would win in that scenario.

If this were a court of law, the jury decides the "proof" as to the accused, not the accused. Its not about what "Dan chose to believe". Who knows what he believes anyway ? Who cares ? Its about what the reader chooses to believe. Readers here (the jury, ie. those who must take "buyer beware" to heart) will draw their own conclusions, and while the thread is long, there is plenty offered here on which base an opinion.

To be honest, even if the snake did have IBD, there's no factual evidence that it was the snake he shipped, only people's words, as the chain of possession was not verified by microchip, etc. That does not limit what you or I can choose to believe though.

Imaginary friends will tell you what you want to hear ...... ... I expected no less from the imaginary friends in this thread.

No pressure Dan. You don't have to make anything right. Its perfect just the way it is right now. All the evidence points to you that you sold a sick snake that died and died of IBD. You confirmed several times the snake in the photo was the one you sent and concluded it got in that condition by being strangled by another snake packed in the same bag. That's the story you stuck to. No you say it PROBABLY got strangled.

Lot of things could have happened to that snake other than it being strangled by its bag partner. John could have stepped on it and squashed its neck. John could have grabbed the snake and squished its neck. John could have put it under his front car tire and ran it over. A kid on a skate board could have run it over. So many things could have happened. Who knows.

As far as it being the same snake that was necropsied? It may not be the same snake. Who's to know? Maybe it isn't and John just wanted to ruin you. Maybe he hates your guts. Who knows?

Do I believe any of these other possibilities above? Nope. I believe John and I don't believe you. Me...of all people....why would he contact me with that info? Because he was just sharing it with me. He knows I'm not the kind to go back on my word. But I never gave him my word I wouldn't provide that info for everyone to see. He was very upset with how much he had to lose.

So I'd really have to question his motive for lying and I cant think of a single good reason why he would.

You have another customer with two dead viper boas within a week of shipping. I firmly believe that IBD is once again the cause of death. I'm not sure if it coming out of your collection or coming straight in with fresh imports you immediately flip. There is a solution to both, to figure out a safe plan and course of action. But your not interested in hearing them and I'm having a ton of fun watching your crappy business go down the drain.
