I bought two frogs from you -- the second frog is still alive and fine. Do you think I wanted to only have one frog, so I killed the other? It would seem that you do honor every concern expressed withing your TOS with a refund or replacement. Many do not. Many also do not waste as much energy here <hint>. I would only counsel to move on the wiser, both with looking at your own quarantine procedures, whether they do or do not need work, and with the PR effect of how one participates here. Don't grab a Bud on my account. Bottled water is fine.

As quoted many times in the BOI, as wise man once said that "to argue with an idiot is to give the appearance of two idiots arguing". You have other fish to fry.

But Dan LOVES the BOI. He is OBSESSED with it. He has gone out of his way to post retaliatory "Bad Buyer" threads about everyone that has spoken up with a negative experience. What would Dan do without the BOI? It seems as if he needs it.


It's too bad there is no one that has spoken up in defense of Dan. Dan is a former employee of one of the big name "good guys" in the business, and that individual has viewed this thread many, many times. I can understand not wanting to get caught up in this drama, but certainly wisely chosen words from the mouth of a true gentleman would have put this issue to rest several hundred posts and a dozen bad guy threads ago. Maybe Dan was a bad employee? Lacks people skills, perhaps?

I can understand not wanting to get caught up in this drama, but certainly wisely chosen words from the mouth of a true gentleman would have put this issue to rest several hundred posts and a dozen bad guy threads ago. He was Ben's mop boy and toilet cleaner. He was a street sweeper.

You think a guy as smart as Ben would trust a flunky like Dan with anything more important than that?

And of course he was bad employee. You don't Dan took the job with Ben just to gain the contacts in the business? Its how it goes. Ben would probably even tell you that.

WOW! You know what sucks? If Dan had been more conscientious or at least somewhat receptive to just a few of the quarantine procedures suggested to him after this initially began, this would be over by now. Had he even attempted to be forthcoming about any records, protocol, facility layout, etc., as I had suggested when we spoke over a month ago, he could even have come out looking like a good guy who has it together and just had the unfortunate experience of an infected snake passing through his facility.....Alas...circumstance does not make the man...it reveals him.

Yeah, that was me. I was told that he has his animals for only a short time, and that new arrivals are kept seperate, etc. He also told me he had nothing but a Garter and a Water snake available which wouldn't pass anything on.....yeah...then I watched him post multiple ads for Boas over the past month.

He was very sincere and a very nice guy. If he was the world's last dealer, I'd find another hobby.

The irony is that I had posted my # and told him to call me to try and help him salvage his rep. He called and we spoke as I gave him some advice on doing "damage control" and then keeping his mouth shut until he straightened everything out at his place.
