Bill, perhaps you weren't a plant setup by Dan to come here and post a favorable feedback report for him. But you seem like a fairly intelligent guy, so what does your intellect tell you about Dan with respect to the two post I quoted above yours? It should tell you that you've been an extremely lucky customer so far that you haven't had any sort of problem or cause to complain about here - because this is the way that Dan handles all crisis and adversity he is faced with. All complaints are handled the same with Dan.

I've never met Chuck. But you're not overly interested in facts, are you Dan?

Look up the word "retaliate", Dan. You're the guy who posts retaliatory garbage about your dissatisfied customers. I've never made a retaliatory post. In fact, there are only a small group of members I've ever even directed a harsh word at: YOU, David Beuchemin (one alias of a scammer and fraud), Charles Schuck (a thief), and Natalie Beacom (a racist and fraud). You're in good company there, Dan-- hardly a group of "superb dealers". To be honest, I don't think your business practices are as bad as those of the rest of that group, but you are at least as crazy and delusional as any of them. You play fast and loose with truth and facts when it is convenient for you, and that's a big red flag in my book.

I guess I have also been lucky, as I have had nothing but positive transactions with Scolaro.
The animals I recieved were what they were advertised as, and completely healthy.

Wow, did I stir up a hornet's nest or what? I merely attempted to post the results of a good transaction..as thas all I'm really qualified to comment on. I will rise above the fray here..as I mentioned earlier I don't frequent this site often..sometimes to do a search on a prospective vendor prior to a purchase or to report a summary of a particular transaction.

That being said, am I incorrect in my assumption that some people who blast Dan (and possibly others) are piling on another's situation gone wrong or does every single person in a given thread have personal bad history w/the guy?

Also, I was suprised to read David Beauchemin's name lumped into a "Bad Guy" category..again only having my own history to rely on. I think I posted the results of my transaction with him...very good - great service throughout and awesome snakes received at the end. I can only comment intelligently on my own experiences.

Regardless of the information gleaned from reading the BOI it still remains a "Buyer Beware" industry. For a few grins, my wife is a Lieutenant w/the Vegas PD and she calls me "Felony Stupid" for doing deals like these over the internet...so far at least he has not had occasion to say "I told you so"!

Happy New Year to all..even though we've never met I trust your participation on this site is directed towards the betterment of on-line herp transactions. Good, bad, or indifferent we must all take this with a grain of salt. Bill

And maybe one day you roll the dice and your luck runs out. I don't see Dan handling you and your complaint any differently than he has the others. I think if you continue to do business with him, and eventually you have a legitimate complaint, you'll be lucky to catch some sympathy and assistance. I know I wouldn't offer you any. I'd be involved only to the extent of saying things like: "I told you so", "AHAHAHAHA", "You supported him, so tough LUCK", "Quit your whining, you knew what to expect". Stuff like that.

Yep, I'd find it very challenging not to laugh at someone for knowingly entering a transaction based on luck.

Sure, sometimes deals go into the crapper, and the best you can wish for is a good or agreeable outcome.

However, I am surprised by your character and attitude, I never would have thought you would be the one to say, "I told you so" etc.

You and I have a history of being at odd's, however, I have always admired your detective skill's and rooting out the facts that most people (including me) miss, in the printed word.

But, I would have NEVERin a bazillion years, thought you would take the attitude of "I told you so"! However, live and learn, as I must.

And...if a deal go's in the crapper btw Dan Scolaro and me, I'll deal with it in my own way. And everyone can best be sure I wouldn't go throught this site to solve the problem.

Sure you did bubba, and you're saying it again. Saying you "guess you got lucky" also says you could have been just as unlucky. What you're saying is that its just a gamble you are willing to take. More than likely because he had something you couldn't find anywhere else. There's lots of folks like you floating around, supporting the bad guys in this industry like you have Dan, and simply because he has something you desire and cant do without. Randal, there is a great void between your ears. Did you ask Santa for trains again this year? Its brains, Randal, brains. You need BRAINS. Did you know I had a brother-in-law named Brian and when he signed his new drivers license once he signed it Brain? Swear to god. I didn't even know about it until a cop pulled him over one time and he nearly crapped himself laughing. The cop showed me and I asked him if he would give me a ride home from where he stopped us. I just didn't feel confident as a passenger riding with Brian anymore. The point is, you remind me a lot of him. He was full of challenges but they were mostly with himself.

Anyway...

This has nothing to do with my being happy about the animal I'd receive from Dan. If the animal was exactly what was advertised I don't see why I'd be unhappy at all.

This has all to do with Dan. Why would I give him my money? I wouldn't even give him your money, so why would I give him mine? There are just too many other good people I could purchase from, that I would feel so much more comfortable and confident transacting with. What does he have I ask that I need so desperately, that I couldn't acquire from someone more trustworthy, responsible and professional now or somewhere down the road in time? If he had everything that everyone needed and it couldn't be found anywhere else, I'd rather I just do without it.

It not about being happy with a nice animal - Dan has very, very nice looking animals that would make me very happy to own. Its about him. I think that's what you don't understand - because so far you've been lucky, bubba.

If you want to help anyone here please help Dan. Challenge him to go back to all of his bad guy posts and seek to find a resolution to both his and his customers satisfaction. If he respects you the way you seem to respect him, I cant see him refusing your challenge.

So, if I buy an animal from Dan and the animal arrives fine, and I'm happy with the animal, I should re-think my position that he is a total scumbag for jerking some of his other customers around and denying them any resolution?

It seems to me that's what you're saying, bubba. So long as Dan keeps you happy in all your transactions its perfectly alright with you if he screws anyone else over.

Ya know, the bonus is and has always been your stupidity and you proving it time and time again here, bubba. It really cant get any better than this.
