Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm getting tired of your commentary about this site & its moderation. The simple truth is that unless a member is banned, you have no idea what steps the moderators take. More often than not, we don't broadcast each infraction we issue. Yes, I have given you infractions, and even banned you a few times (for 1-3 day periods). You earned them. Just so you know you are in good company, and not being picked on, I've done the same to several other members for a variety of reasons.....including a good number of posts against you.
Keep in mind that you largely set the tone of your own threads. You choose to hurl insults, and to continue dragging these threads on and on. It's all in good fun, right? That's what you've said, at least...so stop your whining about the lack of moderation. If you want to utilize this site for your own amusement, who are you to say that others can't join in your game? In other words, if you want to taunt and bully the other kids on the playground, don't complain about the lack of protection when they come after you.

You are a moderator and you see that the so called bogus complaints had no grounds as the terms of sale were met, but instead of supporting the fact that the terms of sale were met, you are here six months later still wondering when a boa was reported dead.

And I never earned any ban. It was all bogus. I was banned because you showed favoritism towards your friend who threw an ethnic insult my way and some other moderator twisted humor to imply molesting. Bogus.

Why not be a man and explain why you banned me after your friend started with an insult against my italian american background? Do some good here and explain yourself for once.

And what is this point thing here? Why not give me some points for teaching your friends a good lesson?

This is not about a lizard or frog - this is about harassment and how you allow it to continue.
 
Actually, Dan, if you go back and check, there was at least once case presented that I supported you & said the post/thread/complaint was without merit. And I'm not done explaining to you...you either get it, or you don't.

Oh bull hockey! Your famous with your claims that no legitimate claim has ever been made against you for unsatisfactory animals or service. So let's play the game your way. PROVE that you have a legitimate claim of harassment against you and favoritism from the mods towards members making statements unflattering to you. I don't read every post in every thread, especially in all the long winded ones where you are involved, Dan, but I will say that I have not seen what you are talking about. Quite honestly, I think a pretty firm case could be made that there is some favoritism TOWARDS you based on the fact that you have not been permanently banned here based on you attacks on this site as well as the management team.

So when you get back, please, by all means, create a separate thread either here on the BOI or in the feedback forum stating your claim of favoritism and prove your case with hard evidence. Not opinions, not suppositions, not wild interpretations, just hard solid evidence from quoted posts.

Why in the name of all that is sane is he even coming back? By my count, this is his fourth ban. He is completely unredeemable and is pretty much nuts. Aside from lowbrow comic relief he contributes nothing here.

After how many bans does it become permanent?

There is a cascading scale of cumulative infraction points that will do this. I believe his ban this time is for 30 days. After that it is the BIG boot to the sidelines for good. Of course, any mod can override the cumulative steps and invoke a permanent ban whenever they feel it is justified. One thing I have become a whole lot less tolerant of is someone who rags on this site, me or the mods, outside of the Feedback Forum. I have given more than one person the BIG boot recently for just such a display. And good riddance to them........
 
Man I must be a glutton for punishment! At least I followed the advice I was given earlier by NOT starting a new thread! Anyway, I just received 1.1 Mangrove Snakes from Dan as well as another female White Lipped Python. I paid cash for the Mangroves and traded for the White Lipped. All three arrived in perfect condition. One of the Mangroves has already taken a thawed rat pup 3 days after arrival and if any of you out there have ever dealt w/imported Mangroves you'll know how great that is!

I read all the negative posts about Dan but I must be the odd guy out there who has yet to have a deal go south w/him. Every snake I've gotten from him has arrived exactly as advertised and all have thrived since arrival.

I do have a bad deal brewing w/another Florida importer that has yet to be resolved.....still waiting on them to even reply to my emails. I will be on the other side of this BOI-fence if they continue to ignore me...but I will not post prematurely until all avenues of resolution have been explored first.

I'm merely posting factual results so will the usual suspects PLEASE refrain from the personal attacks.

I have a new clutch of Mangrove eggs as well.The new Mangroves I just got from DTS are the "many-banded" types....much speculation as to whether of not they'll keep their coloration or fade to all black. Either way works for me as I have 0.1 all black Mangrove as well. So far I now have 2.5 Mangroves of varying ssp. only one of which is a LTC over 5 years..all have done very well. In Dan's defense he does treat for parasites w/Panacur and Flagyll and has also started treating any suspected of UR issues w/Fortaz prior to shipping. This is one reason I choose to deal with him w/imported animals. I then treat them myself 3 more times over 3 weeks and all are thriving...should be geting my second clutch anyday now.
