To answer your question. No, it was not ever verified as a Quake. What a great investment, eh? He told me when I asked before purchasing it that the reason he hadn't sold it yet was because he was waiting on the right buyer to show up. Apparently that idiot was me.

Hey all you folks who bought Arroyo/Rio animals at full or near full retail price - how you feeling about these auctions he's been putting on, selling them for pennies on the dollar? Still feeling comfortable with your investment? Hopefully this will encourage the people who have kept quiet so far to come forward with their stories of paying full price just months ago, or being told they'd bought all he had of a gene just to see him auction that gene off weeks later. He's also taking the value of red stripe, trick, blitz and others with him when he goes. These aren't just single examples. Several have been sold so far, and "this process will continue until every last DWH animal has been sold". How's that for protecting the investments his prior buyers made in confidence?
I find it incredibly interesting that the forum known for hating market crashers doesn't utter a PEEP about this one. Gotta protect your own, I guess.
