    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Do you have any proof to back this up? I am a bit surprised. I have heard nothing but good things about him and his stock is beautiful from what I have seen.

Post the details of the transaction.
 
I have not bought from Dankdat but have seen pictures of his snakes and they are some of the most gorgeous boas I have ever seen. He seems very helpful on forums, too.

Do you have any info to back up these surprising accusations?

I once heard a saying that went something like "if you meet 3 a@#holes before 9 in the morning, you might be the A%#hole" 3 posts of snakes dying, did you have all of these new animals in serarate quarentine areas? If one of them was sick it could have had something to do with the others. Hopefully you can provide some proof in the form of paperwork from the vet, or at the least copies of emails between yourself and some of these, alleged bad guys. Nick Stone
 
I don't personaly know Kenny but he has some of the nicest boas around. I've seen many pics on a few different forums and would buy from him in a heart beat. I read the post that Nick linked and it does sound like hes talking about you. If he is, you have a problem 4 months later. Thats YOUR problem!
You have yet to show any proof of any transaction with Kenny. Three bad Boas from three different sellers? Either you have the worst luck in the world or you should rethink your husbandry practices.
 
So Ken offered you a refund and you did not see fit to take the offer with this "sick" snake? You felt it better to wait a couple of months and ask for a refund? I'd say that Dank owes you nothing at this point, and cannot be held accountable for your husbandry practices or qt. He has some of the best looking boas around, and is always avail through many different forums if you needed to contact him. Sounds fishy to me.

I want to see ALL the emails exchanged from the first inquiry to the death notification, Also the first vet exam paperwork should be displayed here as well as the necropsy report.
IMO after many months in the OPs possession if the snake was sick there should be some vet paperwork to say what happened.
I think I remember the seller from being on the RTB site but I doubt we even exchanged pleasantries so I have no ties to him but something strikes me as fishy here.
 
I am wondering if he kept all 3 boas that died together. This one, the other one, AND the one from Dan Scolaro.
Personally I would not let an animal from Dan in the same building as my collection.
 
i know many people have bought from kenny and they all sau they would buy from him again. i have talked to and read enough of kennys posts to know he would never have released a sick boa. kenny is one of those rare people who care for his snakes and dont just see a dollar sign.

Yes. This one, one from Dan Scolaro, and one other from a different person (I can't remember the name right now). The OP posted all three were sick/dead.

I have a feeling either the boa from Dan had somethng (his reputation is not all that great) which infected the others or his husbandry is just terrible to have 3 boas die in his care.

I do not believe you are telling the whole truth. Something, gut feeling, tells me YOU are the responsible party here in some way.
How about supplying us with ALL the details?
 
I've done business with Ken and the animal came in completely healthy. Ken knows his stuff and like mentioned wouldn't sell an animal that was less than 100%. I'm up to speed on this situation and given the time frame from it's arrival to now, the owner is the only one at fault. Even moreso, the fact that Ken wasn't at fault and went beyond to refund the money well after the stated time frame before the transaction shows a awful lot about his integrity.
 
But this poster said this snake came in sick. With three complaints in such a short time, I am thinking that they are not valid, perhaps he did not even receive snakes, but wants to start controversy for some unknown reason.

NOW I know a necropsy report is in order.
A single boa in a collection dying, maybe it is the breeder but 3 from 3 different sources says bad husbandry or a contagion has entered the collection.
If Mr. Bryan has had no problems from any others from this group or in his collection at all theen the fault CANNOT be his.
Come on Mr. Farr, the whole truth this time.

Maybe he just learned about the BOI and is catching up on old mishaps. :shrug01:
