I think the OP is smart to lock down her collection for at least six months. Unfortunately she didn't get a necropsy done on the snake that died, so she doesn't know whether it had a bacterial or viral infection. She also has to figure that the seller either knowingly shipped a sick snake, or the snake looked fine when the seller packaged her up, and the RI blew up overnight due to the shipping stress, and then killed it in days. She has to assume the worst, which is the snake had one of the various fast-acting PMV's.
Also, if the snakes were all shipped in the same box, the mites had a chance to feed on the sick snake, then move back to one of the healthy ones and expose it... and she doesn't know what the incubation period is. Honestly I'd be pretty freaked right now.
