• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Trade Dart Frogs for Tortoises

Looking to get out of dart frogs and back into tortoises. I realize there's not a whole lot of overlap in these two hobbies, but these frogs are very bold and make excellent display animals for a home or office. If your animal is more valuable or less valuable than these frogs, I'd be happy to throw in some cash or accept partial trades. I'm in New Orleans but can ship or drive a considerable distance to make the trade.

What I have to offer: 0.0.5 dendrobates leucomelas (bumble bee dart frogs) + optional supplies for culturing fruit flies, UV light, tank, extra substrate etc. I value the whole package trade value at $300 and the frogs only at $200 (plus I'll throw in the culturing kits).

What I'm looking for: any age of any of the following: any redfoot tortoises (incl. cherry heads, clowns etc), any star tortoises, leopard tortoises, yellowfoot tortoises, black or brown mountain tortoises and also would be interested in breeding groups of box turtles.
