Seems like Dave might be experiencing problems with his communication skills. I understand the possible mistake in sexing and also agree that it could have been an honest mistake but there is no excuse for ignoring a customer, past, present or future.
I have been emailing for a couple weeks requesting infomation about the snakes I had purchased from Dave without a reply. At the time of purchase I advised that I would follow up with an email requesting this infomation and he agreed to supply the infomation. Before the purchase he was all over the place replying to any emails sent. I have since decided to carry on without the requested information but also to direct future purchases elsewhere.
