    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just purchased Male Ridleyi from Dave Katz.

Dave is a great guy and delivers what he sells...good snakes.

I just wanted to reenforce the good guy rating for Dave Katz. He talked with me over the course of a few months before my purchase of three kingsnakes. (we were both very busy during the fall).

A week before Christmas we got in contact again, and he remembered exactly what I wanted. He cared about the snakes enough to ask if I had the ability to cool the female down, as she had stopped eating, and that if I couldn't get her eating after a few weeks he would gladly take her back. I have the ability, and was very excited to get these snakes, so he agreed to the sale.

On chance, he happened to be driving through my area Christmas day on his way to see family, so we made plans to meet in a parking lot at a pie shop / fruit stand (he was hoping to get a pie)

the snakes were in great condition. And the two boys are eating tonight without any fuss. (they nearly jumped out of the tubs looking for the food).

Dave was a great guy to work with, and hopefully I can get more snakes from him in the future. The care he had for the snakes themselves really shows in how he talks about them, and worries about them.

Just wanted to update my review. When I got my three snakes from Dave I knew that the female needed to be cooled down, as she had stopped eating for Dave. He was hesitant to sell her when I picked them up, but I was confident in my ability to cool her down without problems.

Anyways, I warmed her up a few days ago, and shed fed no problems. Just as Dave said she would, she ate without a problem.

The snakes are super healthy. All are eating well. And they are super bold! They are always coming out of the hides when I open the tubs they all come out to investigate, instead of hiding. They are not flighty or nervous snakes either, and take to handling well (wich is super useful when needing to get them out to clean tubs or check them out.)

Also, when I emailed him the update, he replied right away, even though it wasn't necessary.

I would not hesitate to buy from him again.
 
So here is my third review of Dave Katz,

I just picked up 3 snakes from him and they are all great! a pair was some hatchlings that I bought from him without even seeing pictures, as he was not sure wich ones would be feeding by the time we had set up our delivery and pickup. The two he picked for me are absolutely wonderful. He is an over all great guy to work with, and a great person in general. He is getting out of breeding for at least a while, but that shouldn't stop me from saying somthing good about him.

Also, he is a fountain of knowledge, and I hope to be able to chat with him again.
