    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well, Dave, as long as you chose to wave the "I'm back" banner, I'll ask this question before anybody else does: You paid the $100 to become a Benefactor member, paid your fine to regain access to Fauna, and paid another $100 to get back to Benefactor level...how much have you paid toward your debt to Dennis? I'm tempted to ask a few other questions, but this really isn't the place.

Dave Lawson did NOT pay another $100 to regain the paid membership here.

Basically an option that was supposed to strip the paid membership status of a member who gets suspended just did not work as it was supposed to.

Probably won't be fixed anytime soon, neither..... :shrug01:

Fair enough I guess...I had seen that thread, but I was going by the combination of the quoted PM (BY DAVE LAWSON: "Well that you Chuck for the heads up. I am having a great week-end, I just returned from Bradenton drag strip where my car got a solid 2nd so I should have the 100 to re up. I am having a little party tomarrow with a a bunch of friends. Thanks again.") and the fact that his user title changed from Registered Member (which is what it said when he reappeared) to Benefactor Member (which it says now).

So then Dave Lawson abused the glitch and fined me well after I made him aware of the glitch that was brought to your attention by Seamus Haley.

Geesh...how did I know the scumbag was likely to do that? I guess that why I warned him through a PM before he went off and started playing moderator again.

Ya know....its not like I give two good farts that he hit me up for two point on profanity....mostly because I know I'm just a profane sort of guy. Really...to thy own self be true....I'd have got those two points in an hour or so anyway with some of the schmucks that infiltrate this place daily. The door is wide open for them and with a skilled mod like Lawson its just oh so inviting.

It just irks me that Lawson basically said SCREW YOU RICH by not investigating my PM notification to him that his status was as a result of a system glitch. Its not like he couldn't contact you or a fellow moderator to determine his status of membership level once I had warned him about the glitch.

I guess that seals the deal! LAWSON IS DEFINITELY A LOWLIFE SCUMBAG.


On a side note to the decent and honest moderators, is there a warning applicable to Dave since he knowingly abused a system glitch?
 
This surprises you Chuck? It was almost predicted earlier in the thread that this would happen just as it has. He's proved to be childish and irresponsible about paying his debts, did you really think he would handle the Mod position with any more integrity than he has always displayed?

He can't even follow the rules, let a lone enforce them correctly or without bias.

Just goes to show that Lawson is incapable of operating with integrity, and will continue his "selective enforcement", most likely aimed at the ones he has the biggest disliking for. Just as he has always done, and was predicted earlier in this thread.

I realize I probably just made that list myself, but that's OK. I want people to see the real Dave Lawson for the petty scumbag that he is.
 
Thank you for your support Rick. I'm sorry you have to go through what I have to go through with Lawson on a daily basis because I call him out for what he is. A DEADBEAT SCUMBAG. The guy is always gunning for me. But its cool because its the way honest folk operate and I understand his frustration at how he can never be in that club. He's even a bigger scumbag now that he's abused a system glitch that he was well aware of. I wouldn't be surprised to see by afternoon that he's racked up a few new warning points to go along with that horrible karma.

If you should get a warning point from Lawson in the future don't even worry about it. The shame is on him and the folks who allow him the status of having the ability to even go that far to issue warning points. I understand its open for everyone but I think most of the good mods have had enough taste of Lawson taint to keep a very close eye on him and his abuse. Maybe when Rich hands this glitch off to his programmer he'll make some changes to the program of becoming a mod to see that the good mods don't have to moderate alongside things like Lawson. Heres hoping.

Time for eggs and bacon.....;)
 
LOL If he chose to make it a point to come after me Chuck, it would not phase me at all, and would do little but add amusement to my otherwise hectic day.

For it to affect me, I would first have to have respect for him, and 2nd recognize him as a Mod. Neither of which is ever likely to happen, since he won't pay his debts.

This is something I addressed elsewhere, recently...BUT, regardless of whether you respect him - as a person, or a mod - choosing not to recognize him as a moderator, IF he is one, is probably a poor decision on anyone's part. (of course, that goes for any of the moderators, not just Dave)
 
First Chuck, I did PM Rich Z. prior to dinging you for the Profanity. With the profanity that you used in that Pm you would have gotten those and many for points no matter what my level.

crotalus, I did not ding you due to the fact that you do not and have not made it a habit to attack people via PM so I thought that a PM would handle it, which I think it did. Chuck has made it a habit to thumb his nose at verbal warnings, I have passed the same verbal warnings to Chuck to only have him PM me back with more profanity.

I did not and would not disrespect Rich Z. he is one of the few people I do respect on and of this site. So for you to say that "Lawson basically said SCREW YOU RICH " is way of base, I PM Rich and he PM'ED me back and I dinged you. Every point that you have gotten from me you earned, so am I gunning for you because I gave you points you earned or am I gunning for you because it is me giving you points that you earned, either way you earned each and every point. Maybe Chuck you should practice save posting and put down your crutch (gin and tonic) and you will have better judgement when sending PM'S.

It is indeed a sad day when a low life like dave lawson can manipulate the Fauna system to the extent that he has. I won't predict the end of this board, (many others have done that and were incorrect) but it cheapens, not only the other mods, but all of us here. Hopefully at some point in the future, the glitch will be corrected.

Some 'shame' is also on those who allow someone with Dave's reputation to draw them down to his level.

What about winning $100?
Why didn't that go to the person he owes thousands to?
Does the judge know about this additional income that should put him above his $200 income a month?
His car? So he has assets? Hmmmm.

I file taxes each year on my race winnings and the Judge was given that info. Some people here are under the impression that I am hiding assets and money well that in not true in the least. I pay taxes on everything. The trouble is that all the infomation was not posted here. It is clear to me that Scott Lakes is not privy to all the facts in this matter.

The thing that I do like is that people want to yell thief, crook etc..... but that is only based on the post by 1 person that spent 3 days in jail for editing and posting a official document and 1 person that stole from his own family. I think that before a person is labeled there should be at least some proof but that is me.

Your word on this matter gets taken with more then a grain of salt (understatement). I'd like to see more posts by the person you owe money to. If the statement you just made, came from the person you owe money to, then it would have some credibility to it.
