    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Add this guy to the list of scammers. I wanted to let the good members here know that this is yet another bad guy. I could post all of the proof, but there is plenty of proof on the repti-forums on this guy. Here is the link. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this guy. I don't want others to be taken by this guy.

David bach AKA Ferrit 92 is a scammer. On 12/8/05 I bid on his auction using the BIN option, auction# 1134020568 There was a duplicate auction as well 1134020570. I paid him in a personal check in the amount of $110.00. He has said three times he was shipping, but still has not shipped anything. Now he is not answering any emails or phone calls. He has lied to me three times so he is proven to be a liar. I will be contacting his local PD as well as his bank, and giving them all of the information gathered so far. I will be leaving negative feedback for him on this matter. I have invited him to join me here. I would like to see what his excuse to trying to scam me now is. Here are the emails between us, I will be forwarding them as well to the proper people to put a swift end to his scamming

ok you can call or email what ever is best for you and I will contact DHL for pickup. Do you have any day that is best for you to be there for pick up? It is going to be on a Mon thru weds. Also, they ask if you have any special requests, like side door, or anything other than regular front door pick up. What time of day is good, I can request like between 4 and 6 pm etc. I like afternoon so the animal does not have to sit all day and the heat pack will be good throughout the trip.

I called to arrange pick up. We have options, if you call the dhl customer service at 1-800-225-5345 they can help you arrange pickup. I asked if 4-6 pm was ok, and they said pickup in that area has to be 12 - 4 pm at your house. If noone can be there at that time, there is a drop off location near you or you can have them pick it up from your place of work.

Please call me (collect if necessary) if you can. 850-914-0353 so we can discuss possibilities. The dhl lady said you will be able to get it picked up if you call them, and the label can remain as it is. No need to change the "from" address in order to send it. Also, if you have a friend or neighbor that can be there for the driver, you can use any address to have it picked up.

David, this makes three times you have lied to me. Please do understand this, I will not be scammed!! I will be contacting the proper authorities ( internet) on this matter. You do realize that this is considered fraud? Witch I might add is a felony. You have proven to be untrustworthy. I will be contacting my bank to put a tracer on the check you cashed, and faxing all of the information to you local PD as well, along with your bank, address, phone, and full name. Is a scammer, buyer beware!!
This is the last I have heard from him. We had a few phone calls on this matter as well, so this is what I have as far as proof. He also has another auction going on here, I bid just to keep him from pulling this auction.

Thanks! Now there will be a searchable record on the BOI in case the entry on ReptileAuction ever gets taken down, so if he tries a transaction with classifieds, hopefully he won't get away with it. I hope he does come through and send the snake out....
 
Thanks Lauren for the support! I just wanted to make sure no one else falls into his trap. We all know it is not much fun being scammed. I will do everything in my power to put a stop to his game. :toiletcla
 
Sorry to hear of your delima. There seems no end to the morally inept. I'll add David Bach to my "don't ever do business with" list. Good luck and keep us posted.
 
Well David Bach shipped the ball python. I am very upset to say the least. This guy needs to be horse whipped!! This female came DOA. There was no heat pack, and very thin Styrofoam (1/4 inch). The box measured 6 inches x 6 inches x 6 inches. I was billed for the shipping on this package, it was put on my account with DHL. The least he could do is ship her right. I will be contacting his local PD again. This snake if she would have arrived alive was so emaciated it was unreal. I will be trying to get any other animals in his care checked on. This case is far from over.

I realize how emaciated a dead snake can appear...but I would have to guess that this one NEVER weighed 1132g...

Looks to be just shy of 3 foot...and not quite large enough around...even if it was live and solid...
