    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm so very glad you got your boas back. Hopefully this guy will get turned in to authorities at some point, since he's stealing, by not "paying" for the snakes he's saying he'll trade.

Lance an I talked on the phone, and he and I decided It would be a good idea to have the Police show up at this guy's door. After the cop showed up at his door, he was more then willing to give the snakes back. I will also be getting all the money for shipping the snakes back.

This made me smile. It's so nice to see a scammer have to face what they've done and then make it right.
 
For the record, I have never met Lance Portal, Aaron Flett, or the scammer David Huffman. When I saw this thread and that this scammer only lived less than 45 minutes away, I thought I'd offer any help I could in recovering the snakes and the money lance and Aaron are out for shipping. I have nothing to gain from helping Lance and Aaron, but it is the right thing to do. Someone once helped me out when I was scammed by someone in another state, and I got my money back (Thanks Chris Harper). The least I could do was to pass on the good deed. If we all work together, we can make some of these scammers think twice about their scams.

It is the threads like these that prove what a powerful weapon the B.O.I. is against scammers and dirtbags in the hobby. I am glad to see you guys get your snakes back, and I hope the shipping money isn't far behind.

I'm not that tech-savy but what I did was hit "print screen" (on my keyboard it's shift+print screen) which placed the image into my clipboard. Then I pasted into a word doc (probably a step I could have left out), sized it how I wanted, copied and pasted into MS Paint, saved and uploaded into photobucket. I'm sure there's an easier way to do it, I just haven't figured it out yet. :eek:
