    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Angel finally started laying this morning on day 46 after her POS. I got to take them from her as she layed them so they're all individually laying in the incubator containers. 6 perfect eggs, all showing good veins and all 100-102g each. She's done now, I just felt the length of her body and she's completely empty. So no slugs, no boob eggs, no weird windows. Woo-hoo! I'm proud of her -- all this from a rescue girl that weighed a little over 900g in August at 4 years of age. Now here's hoping for little Java babies in about 60 days!

I have pics of the eggs but my camera batteries died and I can't upload them until I go buy more. BUT to make up for it, I got video of her laying one of them. :thumbsup:

Here's a pic I took of mom 2 days ago after misting her and the bedding. I like how it turned out, she was glowing before she layed:

Now I'm having trouble with the damn Hovabator. I'm going to trash the stupid thing when Lex gets here in a day or two, we're building an incubator out of a mini-fridge. I have the Hova hooked up to a Helix DBS-1000, but the temp that the Helix is reading is 1-4 degrees off from what the ACU-RITE thermometer is reading. It keeps going from 88-92 and I can't get it to just sit at 89-90 and stay. :confused: I don't want to lose these eggs!

Argh. Anyway, here are the pics (I just went and bought batteries). First is Angel laying her first egg, second is her all deflated after laying, third is all 6 eggs sitting pretty. :D
