    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone on here could recommend a motel/hotel anywhere in the Daytona Beach area that is reasonably priced and would permit a 16# dog. I've been surfing for hours and found one 10 miles out, but finding a pets allowed motel in the area seems to be tough. Thanks in advance, Michael

I'm discouraged by the lack of replies to your request, but I'll post our similar dilemma here anyway.

We'll be vacationing in New Port Richey the week before the show, and will be driving to Daytona for the show on Saturday & Sunday. We'll be camping, but will have our dogs.

Does anyone in the area know of a kennel that we can put the pups in during the day on Saturday? I don't mean a vet that will put them in a cage, but a kennel that has an exercise yard and shade and all that good stuff. The dogs are 90# and 55#.

Any help is appreciated.

Terese,

I know that Disney World in the Orlando area has kennel facilities but I do not know anything about their quality or requirements.

I'm not concerned about finding a hotel that takes dogs, I'm more concerned about finding a good place for them while we're actually at the show. I don't think we're allowed to bring them in, and I certainly can't leave them unattended in a hotel room :)

I understand. And you are correct, the NRBE has a no-mammal/no-bird policy. At all the other shows we vend at my dog is behind my booth - sometimes I think the customers are more interested in her than the animals I am selling ;). Good luck finding a nice place for your dogs to spend their days. Our little 16-pounder will be fine sleeping in the hotel bed while we're gone.

Cheers, Michael
