Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It can also affect anyone that buys from his customers. That could turn out to be any of us.... because who know's who his customers have been in the past, or will be in the future.

So yes... we all have a reason to get mad at someone with his complete lack of morals and ethics.

Go back and read the emails that Nick sent to Kevin. He told Kevin that he would go to the BOI with news of IBD (which had NOT been confirmed) if he didn't get more snakes from Kevin.

Ummmmm that's blackmail. I know the definitions.
 
I'm curious about the date on the pathology report that showed IBD - 5/9? and was faxed on 5/18? I'm trying not to be too suspicious but can't help myself.

I called my vet again early this week to find out where my report is, they had to re-request the copy from UCDavis, just in case anyone is wondering I'm still waiting to get it from them.

People keep saying about how the one boa has mucos, we've still never seen proof of that.

Regardless, I know Kevin was sent a PM here on fauna, I have just now sent him the following email to the same address that I was able to contact him from before.

Wanted to make sure you were aware of what has happened in the BOI thread - the results came back on the one boa as IBD positive. If you need it, the name of my vet that did the IBD testing on my boa is Dr Gandolfi at the Castro Valley Companion Animal Hospital: http://www.cvcah.com/

It would be a good idea to stop buying/selling and sacrafice some of your snakes for testing. Also addressing the BOI thread would be a good idea even though I know people are going to jump on you, just ignoring it will only look worse."

Good catch, April. Faxed on 5/18....but not available and posted until 5/25 (there could be numerous explanations for that part)
Also, that report was dated 5/9 - going back to post 231, the date the boa was received was 5/9...with the preliminary report dated 5/10 (the date that Nick sent Kevin the email making the IBD claim)

No proof has been shown - that was one of Nick's claims to Kevin, shown in the emails...Kevin denied it, stating that it had never had any discharge. Of course, Kevin also stated that the snake had been examined by a vet - turns out that was something he was told by the respected breeder, and there was never any proof.

Regardless, I know Kevin was sent a PM here on fauna, I have just now sent him the following email to the same address that I was able to contact him from before.

Wendy, my heart goes out to you once again. In no way are you the bad person in this situation. I do not know how you quarantine and I am not going to assume you didn't quarantine but with good quarantine methods, I believe you can stop the spread of IBD in a collection and keep your collection safe. However, the quarantine methods must be excellent in order for the possibility of IBD to stay an isolated incident. Good luck with your small collection and hopefully nothing else will get sick ever.

Thank you so much for your support on this matter. Im DEFINATELY not trying to be the bad guy... but, it im made out to be one here i guess oh well... I assure you that all of my snakies are on strict quarantine right now... my kids arent even allowed in the room (they arent too happy about it either....)

This is true... I just wanted to throw the bad guy part in there, because some people appeared to be angry that im not angry.... i guess because im just not an angry person. lol. So, yeah.

We covered our buyers, we're all good!
And FYI, not one of our snakes were ill, are ill, and we have no issues with any of our collection.
The only animals that died were the animals that Kevin sent to us.
As stated, we work to keep it nice and clean over here.
We got pinged on fauna, wrongly..........we were slammed over & over, and yet we never disappeared, we never backed down or away from the 'truth'.......and now where's Kevin?
If anyone can find long-lost Kevin, tell him he still has our hard-earned money, and that he's going ot get a little surprise fairly soon ;-)
And once again, we want to thank all those that dropped us a line to show concern. You guys/gals were cool! As well, a special thanks to those that attacked at first, but then later were nice neough, professional enough, to came back and apologize. It was those responses that displayed a true understanding for the situation we had to deal with. Thanks Much!

My buyer replied to the thread, as did I.
My buyer knows what's going on, and so do I....therefore, we both replied.
My buyer knows I gave them back 3-times what they paid/lost, and I know Kevin South never paid us for our loses.
Tommy-Boy, we replied because someone made an inquiry. Get it, friend?
And for the record, the problem is that Kevin South sold sick snakes that died, and then he disappeared. Can you read? Are you conscious?
As well, to you, what did I do or say to you Tom? Did I address you? Did I say anything to offend you or anyone else in my response? Or, as usual, are you work'n to create hatred again, where there is none currently. Why are you hate'n Tom?
Finally, if the person before me asking their question didn't ask 'you' the question, and if you have nothing invested in the deal, if you're not out the $700, and if you have no idea what's going on currently, why the harsh immature reply towards us? If you knew how to answer their question, why did you not do so?

That's great that you are here, and not hiding. Kudos for that. Still...the fact remains that YOU knowingly sold a SICK snake, and you were trying to sell another SICK snake.

Is Kevin in the wrong? Yes, and so were you.
 
Yes, I DO agree, I did screw up selling that snake. However, for context of the sale....please know that I told my buyers (which are now friends, cool friends at that!) that the snake was new to me, that I hadn't had it very long. They really liked it and asked me to sell it to them. I SO screwed up saying yes, admittedly. I screwed up, and have stated that many times. I stand-corrected for that action, I never hid that fact. I always accepted my fault and stated "I made a mistake" by selling.
Also, know that my buyers lost one snake,....but I replaced that one snake with 3, count them, 3 beautiful babies worth more than 3 times the amount they paid to me.
I bent over backwards to come to the aid of my customers. I feel that should be respected. SHould it not? Yes? No?
All in all, early today I was just talking, giving an update, and I was attacked, LOL....for what? We're past the point of not knowing what happened, we all know Kevin hs become invisible......and all involved except for Kevin South are present and accounted for. We've all been adult about the matter, and made-good. Well, again, I say....all but Kevin South....he stole our money and is g-o-n-e.
Cut & dry, Kevin has our money and he disappeared. If he did it to us, stole, he'd do it to you ("you" being rhetorical, as in, he'd do it to any of us).
Anyway people....we only want peace with everyone. We're tired of trying to prove our point, but we'll also not allow ourselves to be attacked, especially without cause or reason.
