In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

We sent JMG reptiles payment for 40 adult leopard geckos on Jan 18. As of today I haven't heard anything from them. I have purchased from them once before without any problems. I would like to know if this is normal behavior for them and/or if anyone has experienced this with them in the past. My wife and I are unsure how to proceed. We don't expect that he is going to take our money and not supply the geckos but we are amazed by the unprofessional behavior from them; taking payment and then ceasing to respond to any and all emails regarding the purchase. Any input from others with experience with JMG reptiles would be greatly appreciated.

I can not speak to his not responding to you but I live in northeast Ohio & the weather has been bitterly cold the past 7-10 days. My guess is is waiting for the weather to warm up a bit & it is supposed to early next week! Try calling him & making the arrangements

I have seen tons and tons of these posts like Tim just posted, mentioning bad or cold weather, and more true that could not be and I understand. However, am I missing something about, once an order is placed, the ball of communication upkeep is in the seller/breeders court? If its a legitimate poor weather issue, or the the animal is in shed (I dont like shipping animals in shed either so I can relate there as well) or whatever, contact should still be kept on the shipper/seller/breeders end to keep the paying customer informed, confident and happy.
