Looks like Dean is taking money for animals and not delivering said animals as well. Guess he's shafting folks on both ends of the spectrum.

So I know there is another thread that talks about a bad deal involving Dean and I have kept my mouth shut about my dealings with him until now. I bought his weird super pastel female before the winter time and with the weather he was unable to ship. I have kept contact with him until about two weeks ago. I tried calling him last week about shipping and again today just to find out his number is no longer working. Does anyone have any other contact information for him so I can either get my snake or my money back? Or know of a way I can get back my money. I know with paypal disputes are only within like a month or two and I purchased her paid in full of a total of like $975 with paypal fees back in November I believe it was. I can show whatever conversations I had with him over email if need be. I'm not labeling him a bad guy or anything cause I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt and would like for him to just make things right. However, with his recent dealings it's hard to have hope in this situation. But if anyone has any type of info on him it would be appreciated. This is my first time posting on here so if I did anything wrong I apologize.

dean has not only shown that he is not to be trusted as a buyer but as a seller also.

The thing is, one doesn't just become a bad guy. They don't just wake up one day and say, I think I'll try my luck at screwing someone over today. They have been doing it for some time and probably picked it up from someone at a young age but the "bad" was there to begin with. Some would say it could be blamed on bad upbringing but I disagree.

Take the worlds of difference between my sister (or as I refer to her as, my sinister) and myself. Same upbringing but two separate outlooks when it comes to stealing. I got caught stealing from a store with a friend (damn that peer pressure) when I was a youngster and I have not done so again. I was so scared before I did it and I was even more scared after I got caught. Not only that I felt so embarrassed and low and told myself that I never wanted to feel like that again. I knew better and getting caught served as a permanent reminder.

My sinister on the other hand would take the gold out of your teeth, steal your identity, write you a bad check and not feel any remorse after getting caught. Hell she even took out a loan and opened a few credit cards in my Mother's name a couple weeks after my Mother died. Same upbringing, completely different people.

People like that are damaged. dean is damaged, always has been and always will be. There is no AA for these damaged individuals, no turning over a new leaf. They are habitual liars and are not to be trusted, period.

Couldnt agree more with that statement. My own "biological father" was a con man/scumbag. I witnessed his scams and his underhanded behavior. He was a respected member of the community for yrs until his actions finally caught up with him. I could never do the things he's done. I also couldnt live with myself if I knowingly took animals or any other property with no intentions of ever paying for it. I guess most families these days have one of these types floating around. They float in just long enough to cause crap and then disappear off again to swindle the next poor guy/gal. Shoot em all and let God sort em out.

Since he received those snakes I bought a pinstripe, pewter ,albino, 0.1 adult pastel and a adult spider from him. thats roughly 2k worth of snakes. Im sorry about him not paying you chris but if you sold him those for 4k i more than gave him half the money he owed you. I use to buy rats from dean, soon as reagan left dean or whatever you want to call it things started to go down hill. he always got rats on tuesday and I would come pick them up on wed. well he didnt have them so i sent him a text on friday telling him i would be down Sat. to get them. i get a message saying he had no money to get rats etc etc etc. Im a little bit of a hothead when it comes to my snakes getting there food so I started buying from big cheese and said fuck dean. Reagan may want to be left out of this whole thing but dont let her play that innocent she is just as involved in all the deals as dean is. when i picked up the pewter and adult pastel, dean and her met my wife and i at red lobster to have dinner and this was after they spilt. I pretty much gave up on Dean when the 2nd payment never showed, nor did a phone call/text come to explain to Chris why the payment was not in Chris' mailbox. I still hoped that there was a reason (that would allow Chris to still receive his money), and even felt bad when I finally removed "StrictlyExotics" from my Fauna "Friends List". If what is quoted above is true (and I'm not suggesting otherwise) then I guess I can quit feeling bad.

What I read from this is that dean had absolutely no intention of paying Chris from day one. I'd say it sounds like dean is a conman and since he is obviously not a man of his word let's hope his earned title of conman gets cut in half to properly reflect what he should to be called, a con. Put his theiving ass behind bars where he belongs. What a piece of garbage.

Red Lobster is 1 step above Taco Hell.....hardly what I consider "eating out" I believe Dand alerted us to Dean being scheduled to vend at the Oklahoma City Show on June 25 & 26.........maybe 1 or 2 independant "collection specialists" might want to "say hello" to this sociopath.

According to the vendor layout, Dean is right next to me. I'm sending the promoter an email right now telling him I do not want to be next to Strictly Exotics. My hunch is that Dean won't even show up to the show, but I am still going to write the promoter and send him a link to this thread.
