Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Deans Reptiles

I never offered ReptileMike any animals. I need to make that clear. I have bought and sold animals before just as I have watched many others do. I did send him an email about partials trades for some burms he has but I wasn't nor did I offer him any animals. I have no animals being sold or traded at the moment. I took all advice from everyone but it seems that my actions are taken way out of perspective. The BCL is my first problem and that is known by all that no me. I ask others what to do and all said to quarintine all the possible affected animals and I have done that. How do you know I wasn't offerinf for someone else for I have friends that like good deals on animals too.

here is the original email from him offering a partial trade my reply and his back sorry for profanity i did a copy paste he stumbles on his words trying to come up with a lie pretty sad if you ask me Dave you are right one excuse after an other i stayed out of this as long as i could i do not like getting into these discussions if poss but this guy does not listen and yes MAY NOT have any issues with his collection but none the less needs not to peddle his crap on other people who are unaware of the passable situation he may have. it does not crearly state reptile trades but that is all he has ever offered me when trades considered. oh yah notice he states he seas nothing wrong with trading animals just not selling them what a champ good morals there.

I never offered you any animals. There is still no proof that the snake I sold that lasy had IBD. This has become bullshit. I never offer you any animals if you read my email you will notice that. I see nothing wrong with tradeing animals. I haven't sold any animals to anyone so what grounds do you have to stand on? I have done everything I was told and I keep my animals inside. I won't be going to the shows anynmore anyway. This is bullshit. You can say what you want but I never offerd any animal trades there for I have done nothing wrong.

Mike...Although I don't doubt for a minute animals would have come into the equation had you asked him some questions, with that little one line email he sent you, he merely mentions "partial trades" with no mention of animals, caging, tools, or anything that he might have had in mind as a bartering tool.
You neglected to bait him a little for more info. Had you done that, I'm sure he would have brought animals into the trade offer, and then you'd have more then an assumption to bring to the table.

Not to discourage you any. You done right to bring it here, but we deal in solid proof, or try to anyway.

James, take the advise, and get out of reptiles. You are a poison to the industry. It's people like you and their careless practices that have caused friends of mine to have to destroy thousands of dollars of animals and caging due to infectious diseases. Not to mention it's becoming more obvious with every post that you flip animals. Something that is not, nor likely to be, a respected practice in our hobby.

Do yourself a favor, and find something else to peddle. Maybe you can make your fortune selling dime bags or something. It's obvious you don't have what it takes to sell reptiles with any type of moral responsibility.

Rick i agree 100% on the baiting thing and yes i agree it did not state anything about him wanting to trade animals in the one liner but as myself and many others who know james this is what he wanted to do which he states in his reply back to me he sees nothing wrong with trading his animals just not selling them. i was thinking of baiting but he knows my email and would have emediatly tried to weasel out of it like every other situation he gets in, it some one else not him or what ever excuse he come up with . like i stated earlier he may not have any health issues with his snakes left but who really wants to take the chance ? i am sorry to here about your friend and unfortunate situation ! this is why i am on here though to try and stop something like this from happening to someone else.

Well there it is I did not offer reptilemike any animals. You can assume whatever you want but the facts of the situation show that I did not offer any reptiles in trade. That is the known fact of the situation. You know I have seen many people buy something or trade for something at the reptile shows and put it right out on their tables to be sold. How is that not flipping? Maybe I am cixelsid! but I have done the same thing I have seen others do. Point blank is the situation reptilemike is talking about I did not offer any animals in trade and he stated that himself and here on fauna everyone seems to be about facts not speculations.

Not saying i smoke because this is online ;-) but i know plenty of people who do, all of which are honest people who've never stolen anything. I mean as couch locked as it may make u, if i owed somebody money or goods i'd put the munchies down and get off that lazy boy and mail that snake or money. that's what any honest person would do, stoned, drunk,or sober. The only thing I do anymore on here is come here for a good laugh at all the idots on this site.
