    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have had a death in the family. My Black Tailed Cribo Loki Passed earlier tonight. He was battling an infection that he got from a mouse that chewed a hole in him. It is a sad sad sad day for me. I was pretty distraught when i saw that he was no longer moving. I guess this is a lesson learned though. Make certain the mouse is dead/ate preferably both. He is sorely missed as the main attraction here in our home. So I am blowing up a poster of him and having it framed. i will remember him fondly. He was a rescue. His previous owners had neglected him and kept him in wire cage causing him to have a nasty nose rub where he almost completely wore it back to his teeth. He had completely recovered from that to full health only to meet his fate at the hands of his dinner. Rest in piece my friend.

What's worse is that I wasn't even home. I was on my way home from Japan. It was someone else who fed him and wasn't paying attention.

I am sorry to hear! At least you gave him a better life then he had. And you obviously took great care of him for him to be that big of a boy!

sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss, Jason,

Losing a Dry is akin to losing a dog, as they are intelligent animals and it's easy for keepers of such to develop bonds with their charges. This I know from personal experience and there really are no words to beguile the grief of such a loss...

Jeff
