• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Wanted Deceased Tortoise shells for preservation

Frozen tortoises for scientific preservation. Also would take empty shells with loose scutes that can be reattached.

Currently looking for the following adult species;

Indotestudo(1.1) forstenii
Indotestudo(1.1) travancorica
Kinixys(1.1) erosa
Kinixys(1.1) lobatsiana
Kinixys(1.1) spekii
Aldabra (1.1)
Chelonoidis chilensis (1.1)
Centrochelys sulcata (0.1) adult female specimen
Testudo marginata (1.1)
Testudo kleinmanni (0.1) adult female

If you have a species other than listed above, please email me with the species, sex and age. May still be interested.

Remember I would also take older shells as long as any loose scutes are accounted for. We can repair and restore the shell.

Can afford to pay small fee plus packaging & shipping.
