    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well guys, I just saw the trailer for Peter Jackson's rendition of King Kong, and I must say it looks GREAT. The monster ape has never looked better in my eyes!

Being a big fan of the original Kong film (1933, not the Jeff Bridges garbage) I'm more then happy to see Mr. Jackson taking a whack and remaking one of the best (if not the best) monster movie classic of all time!

December can't get here soon enough!

haha, jack black is awesome

kinda strikes me as king kong meets jurassic park meets return of the living dead, haha, but i'd still see it, lol
 
Hehe, for sure, Jack Black is definitely a one of a kind actor. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how he is in a pretty serious role. I loved the scenes where Kong scraped with the Dinosaurs in the 1933 original, so I'm really, really looking forward to seeing the fisticuffs that this one has to offer.

Also looks like they've followed the book a bit closer from what the trailers showing!

Man oh man, I can't wait!
 
Everytime I see Jack Black in a semi-serious movie I can't keep a straight face. I always have some Tenacious D song going through my head.
 
I'm a big fan of the original King Kong, and definitely will go to see the new one. However, I have to say that I'm disappointed that this seems to be the "Year of the Remakes". Whatever happened to new ideas? :shrug01: Jack Black is awesome, though. I just hope he doesn't whip out a guitar and beat King Kong with it. Lol.
