    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm with everyone else. You blew up over something that was a simple fix and on top of that not a big deal. You made it out to be way worse than it actually was. There are people getting screwed over all the time with crappy deals and being scammed and you are clogging up BOI space with "I got added to a facebook group and didn't want to leave it I wanted him to remove me". Get real.
 
This was hiliarious. This just made my morning. Seriously, grow up and for what it is worth, you started the crap with him. So.... I don't know why you brought this to BOI?? You are actually making yourself look bad. Good job on that.:thumbsup:
 
I really tried to ignore this....
So, the story is that you wanted him to remove you from some group, which he said he would do when he got home because he couldn't do it from his phone. You got upset and insisted that he do it immediately because you couldn't do it from your phone, either.
I guess my question is why this was so important that it occupied that much of your time WHILE YOU WERE DRIVING? I mean, I'm sure you're Mr Multitask, but it's :censored: facebook. Put the phone down, drive your car, and deal with the issue when you get home.
 
Are you sure your 38???? Really???? 38 years old????? Grow up! All you did was make everyone that reads this thread never want to deal with you. Hopefully you can handle that, I know its rough being you. :rolleyes: I hope I come to a point in life where I have the time or the energy to throw tantrums over Facebook. Good luck buddy!
 
This thread is complete rubbish! People who join facebook have a general idea of how it works and being added to groups is an option that EVERYONE deals with.

The type of person to make such a big deal out of NOTHING is not the type of person I'd ever deal with.

Dennis is a good guy - I'd do business with him any time without worry. I know he would do everything in his power to do things right....just as he did in this case.

If you cannot remove yourself from a facebook page, perhaps you should consider not using facebook since you cannot use it properly or conduct yourself in a reasonable manner in a social setting.

Don't even get me started about driving while using facebook - people die because of people like you!

I'm fairly certain you lost any pity I would have had as soon as you chimed in with calling it "Selfish advertising" (do you get this angry over commercials on your tv? I hate commercials but I don't throw tantrums when they don't end immediately).
Asking him to be mature when he was courteous and said he WOULD take care of it and immediately turning around to tell him that's not good enough while you are driving home?? Really.
Normally the BOI is used when people have issues with things NOT resolving after the party responded they would do something about it.
If you had given him the chance to fix it, or waited to get home and fix it yourself, this would not have been a real issue, just an annoyance for you.
If he said he'd take care of it, then never did and ignored you or insulted you from the get go saying he would not do poop for you...I could see you getting mad...but you can still fix this situation on your FB settings. Instead, you got mad, possibly from being overworked and / or stressed over your day, and attacked him first.

I hated being added to weird groups so I went to my settings and blocked all that nonesense. I do have people that post on my wall asking me to like a page or whatnot...if you don't want to, there is also a button ON that post that says hide from timeline/report spam. It blocks it from your view, which you could have done until you got home to deal with the settings on your FB account.

All in all, speaking as someone that has worked 12 and even 16 hours shifts many times before, I understand how tiring, draining and how mentally that can leave us edgy, but please...next time wait to get home, get into some comfy clothes and chill before you decide to go a-wall over something on FB.
They call it social media for a reason...you get advertisements, updates on what people ate for dinner and even some useful information. Not a place I'd take seriously though. ;)

After some research I'm not convinced that this is him. The article linked is from a paper local to Illinois, while Dennis has his location on Fauna as Indiana. The Dennis Willis in the article has the middle initial of D, while the Dennis Willis of Region Reptiles lists his middle name as Salvato.

So yeah, I think that the child molester is a different person.
 
Never mind, I have a bit of a fever and admittedly poor geography skills. This does indeed look like the same guy, despite the inconsistencies in the middle initial. :shrug01:
 
Its the same person. Both articles as well as the Record Sheet Point to Highland IN aka Indiana not IL indicating Illinois

Id be more believing the Middle name is Daniels than what he has here.

I don't know this guy. Never spoke to him, emailed, or visited his facebook group.

With your post I did go check out what is being posted on facebook. What is being stated there and what people are calling him just like the posters are here. So I'm going to assume this is the same person. I haven't looked into it but I will assume all those on facebook and here have.

From what I gather some people liked him previous to this and some people really disliked him. I noticed the posts based on the same information you posted in the link and the original charges stating for fact he is a child molester. Not knowing anything but the charges leveled and this article.

I'm not defending a child molester but before I call someone that I would like some proof other than a charge. It is very easy to get angry when you here stories like this and immediately believe the charge is accurate.

So the original child molesting charge was dismissed. There was some sort of plea. One might think that in of itself is guilty sounding.

Sounds very inappropriate doesn't it? This site doesn't seem to fond of his plea deal so I wondering why they didn't include the original fondling charges as the original charges? Why would a judge take a plea for battery, on a child molestation case? Something doesn't add up.

So before I start trashing someone and there entire future I want to make sure it is just. The above article wasn't very supportive of Mr. Willis and it sounds very inappropriate.

While the finding of the court is much different than the original charge that still sounds like he had some girl in his house doing inappropriate stuff.

Well someone pointed out that this was his daughter he was tickling on another site. If true, the above statement seems to be written to shed a different light. Wrestling with your own daughter and tickling her is much different than some random girl.

Heck, I was very ticklish as a child and remember wrestling with a cousin who pinned me down and tickled me until I almost peed my pants. I tickled my sisters and it most certainly wasn't what is being made out here. It most certainly wasn't battery. It's common horseplay.

So before I take any part in trashing this man's name for life in this way I sure would like some more information. Why would anyone let a man walk on simple battery if he is a child molester? Was there just not enough evidence?
Was the story changed?

Unfortunately it isn't always cut and dry and questions like is he married to the mother? Is there a bitter divorce? A custody fight? I don't know but just saying this guy is a molester based on the fact he was tickling his child and didn't stop when she said isn't enough.

I hope those running around calling him this know much more than what I read.

If he was really just horsing around playing with his child and didn't stop tickling when she asked (which of course one never did) I think a big injustice is being done.

If he wasn't and is what he is being called and you knew for sure well then Burn his name into the ground.... Don't do it because you don't like the guy.
