    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Denny Joe Hatcher, avoid buying or selling from him

The link I posted does not seem to work, sorry. It's easy enough to find though, and it's very, very long ... sigh. Did I do the 3 dots the right way?
 
Just to give a quick synopsis, since it is a long thread:
Denny brought his complaint to the BOI, made some broad sweeping comments, accused Ken of being rude and condescending, said he was charged $20 (by Ken) to sex the snakes, and said the snakes he received were infested with mites. He lashed out at other members, claiming to be a Vietnam war vet - injured in the line of duty, with arm and leg prostheses, and damaged hearing. He stated his eyes were so bad, he couldn't see the mites; and he difficulty seeing them even when the vet was pointing them out -despite them being "infested". After this, he wouldn't respond to questions about how he knew his other snakes didn't have mites. When pushed to show evidence of the mites, he took a pic from google, and posted it to his gallery. Called on the stolen picture, he denied it - they looked similar, but they weren't the same.
It was shown that Denny was too young to have been in the war - he lied to cover that, saying he'd mistyped his DOB when he registered; and that he'd dropped out of high school to join. When that was shown to be untrue, he insisted that his account had been hacked into, and he didn't start the thread, and he never claimed Ken sent him mites. The IP address of that post was the same as the one that started the thread, and made the injured war vet claims.
I'm sure I've forgotten something, but :shrug01:

To clarify - HE SAID they looked similar, but weren't the same.
I posted them side by side, and they were clearly the same pic...but the one Denny posted was slightly smaller. He's since removed the image from his gallery, so the picture no longer appears in the thread (I knew I should have copied it, and attached it :shootfoot )

Don't forget that Denny enlisted a friend to call and harass Ken, pretending to make a sale only to back out and waste everyone's time on purpose. That effort could have been used to someone who was actual serious and it's shady and low to intentionally mess with someone just for revenge. Been following his BOI thread and that guy is legit crazy!
 
Actually, that "friend" was Denny himself, using the email from the website he created to sell reptiles...I knew I was forgetting something.

Dang! I was hoping this was going to be a certifiable bad guy thread ABOUT Ken! I need more info on him when I give my paper on the History of the IHS in Maryland next year! I keep looking for dirt on Ken, and I can't find it! arrrghhh! I guess I'll call him, "Mr. Teflon" or "squeaky clean".
 
Randal, keep that up and I'm going to force you to be program director too. I think I have one, but if not, you are on my "what can I find for him to do list". I'm watching you son. :D
 
Aaah, but all of you are forgetting Ken's amazing ability to maintain his svelte physique on less than $20/week. Like the Miracle of Loaves and Fishes, he is able to feed the masses for a week at a time on only one bucket of chicken!
