    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

But he didn't return them until considerable pressure was applied, in fact lied about having them. Doesn't that imply dishonesty at the very least?

The point I was making is that he kept the frogs, and it was not until the inquires started that he returned them.
 
Was the name of the "alleged" thief ever disclosed by Derek? And if so, how did Derek say he locate him?

According to the last thread I read by him, he was not going to name the person. He changed the subject and then wouldn't address it when he was asked pointedly about it. Then the thread was closed down and I haven't seen him online since.

Really, if memory serves, most of his defense revolved around how nothing could be proven, that he was entering law enforcement eventually and knew none of this would stick if charges were filed anyway. I asked him about the matching IP issue 4 times and eventually all he said was "well, I'm not an IP guy so I don't know anything about that"...no curiosity about the 4 million to one odds on it happening randomly...no indication that someone at the gathering could have access to his computer and set him up. I told him that was like saying "I'm not a fingerprint guy, so whatever".

Ok, Matthew (melas) gave me Dereks phone number and I called him last night around 10 PM or so. He said he was aware of the threads about him on Dendroboard and DartFrogz but unaware of the BOI thread.
He said he has not been on DB for a while so did not see my PM (I told him the link to BOI was in his PM box on DB), before I called him his profile said the last time he was on DB was 1/18/2011, this morning his profile says the same thing.

All I can say about the phone call is I did my best to encourage him to post here. So I guess we will see.

Still no Chris? Why is that happening? he kept saying he was going to post and has nto done so yet. I am sure it would go a long way as to telling what happened.
