    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This guy had this same ad on Kingsnake last night. The seller name is different on each site, but the pictures are identical. When I inquired about the ad he told me the male pied was sold for his asking price of $1000 but told me I could buy it if I offered you more. Now I see he has offered it here, today, for $2000. Following is the correspondence word for word:

So my take on the whole situation is that he was trying to "auction" the snake to the highest bidder. These sites (Fauna and Kingsnake) are not the sites for that type of practice.
 
I am writing ONLY as a 3rd party observer on this issue to let everyone know that this Male Pied was sold to a friend of mine and was delivered in person by Derek.

I have never met or even spoken to Derek and have not done business with him in the past, therefore I cannot vouch for his future dealing negatively or positively. I am only here to say that on this deal, I am confident that all went well and this animal was delivered.

Hi, I purchased the pied male from Derek. Everything Mike Russo said is true. I met Derek for local pick up on tuesday morning. Everything is ok on my end of the deal Derek seems to be a good guy to deal with.

Anyone curious about me or questioning my credability can private message me and I will gladly provide numerous references. I am not a scam artist, nor am I a dishonest person. I do admit to poor judgement in this matter and can only apologize for that. Thank you Doug and Mike for your support on this matter. Also for those questioning the reposting of the add, I bumped the ad from a mobile internet source. If I had access to a normal computer at the time, I would have created a new thread but since I couldn't I just bumped the current one and marked the Pied SOLD!!! So how would I be trying to sell it for $2,000 when it's clearly marked SOLD!! The dollar amount was pre- existing as I was originally asking this amount.
