    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Did you offer her a refund and paying to have it shipped back? If the wrong dragon was sent to her, then it shouldn't be on her to pay for shipping it back.

So, post #10 is not the dragon sent? Or not the dragon bought? They are clearly two different dragons. If she bought a hypotrans dragon, the one on the right is not trans. Can someone post the correspondence between the two of you?

photo comparison

I am by no means an expert when it comes to bearded dragons, but I do believe both photographs represent the same animal. The picture on the right looks to me like the same dragon just older than the picture on the left. I outlined the patterns I believe to be the same showing that the dragon in the left picture is the same as the dragon in the right picture. Once again I am no expert when it comes to bearded dragons. As for the genetics I can not comment on those as I do not know bearded dragon genetics. If this was a boa I would be of much more help.

Offered for them to ship it back and and full refund of the Dragon n original shipping cost but they will have to pay the return shipping because they're unhappy with the animal therefore I won't reimburse for the shipping back

Check out the dragon in my avatar, looks similar. Dragon heads look alike for the most part. However a translucent dragon should have solid black/dark eyes and a hypo should have twenty clear nails. The one on the left in the picture appears to be hypotrans, the one on the right isn't the same dragon as the one on the left.

Did you sell her a hypotrans?

The markings on this dragons head look more like the one she received then the pic of the one she bought. Since their dragons are related of course they will have similar markings. The one she bought is trans, the one she received is not.

First pic is what she bought, same pic as in the screen shot above where she told him which one she wanted. Second is a pic she took and posted in the fb post of the dragon she recieved. I don't see how that is the same dragon.

A bearded dragon's pattern will fade or saturate the body, it doesn't change in shape. The two places I have marked are clearly not the same. Translucent dragons also have a greenish tint (hue) to them.

Like I said I am in no way a bearded dragon expert was just offering up my opinion and what I saw with the photo comparison, now that I am seeing more photos of each animal I do feel they are not the same. I am glad some bearded experts chimed in and offered their opinions as I feel they would know better than myself given the species this thread is about and what I specialize in.

Eleesha wasn't sure how to post pics here so I'm posting the screen shots of the conversation that were posted on Facebook

Just putting it out there. A dragon doesn't change it's pattern to be unrecognizable in a few weeks. Stress can cause color differences but not pattern changes. The lines across the back of the two in question, are not the same either.
