    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Guess that means I can post! You sent the wrong dragon, willingly or unwillingly who knows. I'm going to go out on a limb here. Hypothetically you order a car and had it delivered to a dealer near you. You went to pick it up and it was the wrong color and the dealership said "sorry sir, but we can exchange if you pay the 525.00 destination charge". Is that even remotely right?
 
i dont care if you post or not, yopu say my wife needs to stay out of it but all of you that have nothing to do can post and comment what you want she has all rights too!!!!! and i never said im too busy to respond, i clearly said im not wasting my time talking to you guys who have nothing to do with this transaction.
 
What don't you get about the fact that the only reason she doesn't want to send the dragon back is she doesn't want to pay for shipping, and shouldn't have to and she is afraid that once she sends it back you will keep her money and the dragon. After how you have acted I don't blame her! You just keep repeating the same thing, she said she doesn't want to return it, like her saying that gets you off the hook. News flash it doesnt!! Just like you were upset about me just posting your wife's side of the conversation your only posting what you think makes you look good and her look bad. It looks very different to everyone once you post the reason she said what she did.

We have more "right" to post here on the BOI, than your wife has a "right" to take over communications with a customer complaint (especially, when SHE said she has nothing to do with your business other than "being your wife").

Secondly, handle this as you will, but keep in mind what other posters have so accurately pointed out: This thread is now the #1 hit for anyone who googles you or your business. Step outside of your box for a moment and think about how that is going to look to future customers. Especially if this isn't resolved.

The difference between us posting here is we are just pointing out facts and giving our opinion, your wife was talking directly to the customer like she represented your business, and rudely at that. You can't both say she has nothing to do with your business then have her defending it like she does, it doesn't work both ways.
 
say what you want,you havent bought a dragon from us,those are ypour opinions not facts. you arent perfect either, you sent us a supposenly proven breeder but yet we had it for almost a year and has yet mated not to mention it arriving cold. markings was different as well so you didnt excatly send the right dragon either, but i can say it was a very colorful great genetic dragon and kept him, just didnt return to you and purchase more dragons from you. nor is this up for discussion, and what part dont you understand i upload the pic from paypal we agreed to fully reimburst for the dragon that includes shipping!!!!!!!!!!! yes it stated hypo trans, he has a see thru body and all charastistics of a trans except for the solid black eyes and was my wife was un aware of what a partial is and didnt correctly by accident misposting it, not knowing that both in the post and the dragon was a partial trans, and like we said she can send it back for a full refund. we did offer to fix the problem to simply return it for a full refund, so if she doesnt want to send it ,then theres nothing that can be done, no refund nothing. people make mistakes and no one is perfect. im done with this, she was offer a refund she refuses oh well like what can be done as long as she has our dragon i will not refund or ship out another dragon in order for anything we need to recieve ours back first. standard policy any where dealerships super markets etc.!!!!
 
how can we keep her money when its through paypal as soon as she ships and provides paypal with the shipping info and once it is deliverd paypal will send her her money come on really !!!! Lmao
 
The customer SHOULD NOT have to pay to return the dragon to get a refund when you are the one who made the mistake.
 
since this post and her blog on facebook we have actually had more likes on our page and sent out 5 diffrent dragons so dont effect any, every business have complains including walmart but that doesnt mean they wont still get business. and she does have something to do with buisness, she handles them,she posts,ships out, feed them just as well as i do, just becuase its on my fb doesnt mean she isnt part owner of the business. and read the pic i upload from pay pal that clearly states FULL REFUND . jsu in case i will upload it agian clearly states everything that she needs to do and paypal with issue her the full refund!!!!

Holy guacamole batman! Are you having trouble comprehending what I'm asking you? I didn't ask what paypal said I asked what you, the business owner is going to do to fix this? I'm not sure how else to ask this to help you understand, Are you going to send her a shipping label so she can send the dragon back? Since YOU sent the wrong dragon you as a business bare the burden of giving her the chance to send it back. If she still decides not to after you have set the label then it is on her. You can get a refund for the label and paypal will give you the money back. If you don't send the label then I can guarantee there will be a lot of people who will see you as the bad guy and avoid doing business with you. It's your responsibility to fix your mistake not the customers. If walmart sends you the wrong item they send a return label so you can send the item back, they don't tell you to pay to send it back if you want either the right item or a refund.

There is so much I find disturbing in the above post, I am not even sure where to start.

First, I am not entirely sure who you are referring to when you talk about a dragon that you purchased, but I know it wasn't me. Irregardless, that is something you SHOULD bring up here on the BOI....but in it's own thread. Bringing it up on this thread seems like deflection and an attempt to shift blame.

Secondly, I agree with the earlier poster who said that there seems to be some confusion as to what role your wife plays in this business. Either she is a part of it or she isn't, you cannot have it both ways.

Thirdly, since you just admitted that the animal was advertised incorrectly, then you should DEFINATELY be paying shipping!

Fourthly, you have no moral high ground here to talk to a customer in such an unprofessional way after all the "mistakes" that were made on your end of this sale.

Think about it this way, if someone sent you the wrong dragon then denied doing so and refused to send a shipping label wouldn't you want people in the community know? And wouldn't you be apprrciative if some of those people tried to urge the seller to do what is right? That's what this is about, I have nothing to gain and don't know you or the buyer and had never heard of either of you before reading the fb post. I love this community/family and dispise seeing others get screwed. Obviously we can't force anyone to do the right thing but I won't give up trying to urge/persuade the bad guys to turn things around and do what's right and those who don't will be added to my list and I'll be sure to warn everyone I know to avoid them as well. You still have a few days left to do the right thing here, it won't make this go away but it will help towards earning people's trust back.
 
Let me try to simplify it for you, since apparently you aren't getting it.

Unless your WIFE works for you in YOUR company or YOUR business, then her mouth does NOT need to be flapping to customers. You said she had nothing to do with the business, so her mouth does NOT need to be replying to anything related with the business. Just because you're married doesn't mean you can pick and choose when she is or is not a part of the business. If she's a part of the business, then she shares all the issues with the business including being able to talk to the customers. But you cannot on one hand say that "She's not a part of the business" and then on the other say, "She's my wife, she's part of the business." It does not work that way.

As for us being able to comment on things; it's after the business transaction has taken place. We are not acting as the buyer or the seller. We are giving opinions on the cruddy service you have provided your customers. While your wife is NOT providing opinion. She is acting as an agent for your business AFTER you have said that she is not part of your business. That sir is why she needs to keep her mouth shut and out of it. Because she cannot act as an agent for your business and give opinion at the same time. It does not work that way.

Standard policy in any industry is to provide good customer service for your customers. Not treat them like garbage and then expect them to take everything you say at face value. I'm sorry but if you sent the wrong item and expect her to pay for return shipping that's not Standard. If she chooses to return the dragon, PAY UPFRONT FOR THE RETURN LABEL. A full refund from paypal will not cover the return shipping! What part of that are you not getting?! She will have to PAY to return the dragon to you, in order to get her original payment back, minus return shipping. It does not state that you will pay return shipping. So your whole, "FULL PAYMENT/REFUND" junk you keep saying does NOT apply. Do you get why you keep getting asked that question now?! If not, then I don't know what to tell you.
 
You DO know I have a video of opening the box right? And the conversation on my bfs messenger where you used hot hands and blamed it on me, as well as me telling you your not supposed to use hot hands and you just brushed it off...sending the dragon back doesn't make it right. Offering to exchange for the proper animal would have been making it right or not screwing me out of shipping to return an animal for your mistake, which I'm not even thinking was a mistake at this point but intentional.
 
I should also state that, minus what was previously stated about her not being a part of the business yet posting, why would she be posting up ads if she didn't know what the animal was genetically? I don't even feel I can trust what the animals genetics are. And any reputable breeder states when an animal is partial trans, especially when you knew I was looking for a breeder when it was old enough. I've always been told that you are not supposed to breed trans as its a quality issue that can affect future offspring. YOU should have known what it was when I was buying the animal and was trying to talk to you about it.
 
What's the difference in price between the dragon that the OP received versus the one that she ordered?
