    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just bought 1.1 hypo boas and an anery male from Daniel. He was very quick to reply to my e-mails and shipped them to me the same day. I received the boas the next morning in an insulated box with a heat pack. They are all beautiful healthy boas and have already defecated and eaten for me.

I just a did a deal with Daniel for a high dollar and a low dollar item. Everything went smooth - from beginning to end, with lots of patience on his end towards my demands.
Same, great attention was given to both animals and both arrived great - very outwardly healthy and just as nice or even better than the pics.
Daniel even sent me a little something extra which was fantastic! Sort of like an early Christmas present!! Thanks again Dan!
Well, needless to say, I was very happy with our transaction and look forward to doing business again soon.

ALERT !!! ALERT !!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!

I just wanted to let people that are interested in doing business with this person, Daniel Haney, [email protected] is his Email and his screen name is DHSERPS or whatever name he is using at this time, that you read this first. Daniel was pleasant to deal with in the beginning but as soon as he could get more money for an already confirmed sale he just disregarded my purchase and sold to another higher bidding buyer. He is dishonest and if he makes a deal with you for one amount and gets a better offer you will not get the reptiles. It happened to me on REPTIBID.com. I bought a pair of 1.1 ADULT ALBINO Boas for $4,000.00 as a buy it now sale. I contacted him on the phone, had a conversation with him about the snakes and he told me someone else was interested in them from Arizona but he made the sale to me and I wired the money over to him using PayPal. He confirmed that he received the money. It was November 24th and Thanksgiving was the next day, so I asked if he could hold them for 2-3 days and he stated that since he already had the money that this was not a problem. I had to quickly make room for these snakes and I lost a substantial sum of money by selling my animals at a loss and on timed payments which I do not usually do. I also lost the opportunity for other purchases I was interested in because he had $4,000.00 of mine. I contacted him on Saturday to tell him to ship Wednesday and he stated that this was good for him. But, when I called the day before to get shipping info he stated that suddenly, his phantom partner had already sold and shipped my snakes to someone in (you guessed it) Arizona. When I asked about this he said you got your money back and not to question him and said F--- You and hung up and blocked my number. This behavior is less than honorable and I would not recommend that anyone buy anything from him as he is not trustworthy.

It would be good to hear more particulars on both sides. While it is true that people are free to choose, for the most part, who they do business with, it is also true that once there is a contract, with a promise for goods (reptiles) on one side, and consideration (money) sent by the other side and accepted by the seller, choosing not to deal at that point is generally considered a breach.
Without more info it is difficult to say if that is indeed what took place; as long as both parties are using the BOI, more particulars would be helpful.

It is your right to refuse sale to anyone you wish, but then why tie up their money by accepting payment in the first place?

The right to refuse a sale without proper cause goes away once you have accepted payment. There was a meeting of the minds on this transaction and you cancelled it. Technically that is breach of an oral contract.
 
Heres what happened he contacted me the day before shipping and asked if i had booked a flight for the animals. I let the individual know that the week particular I was going to ship , it was going to be difficult for me to send the snakes airport to airport. I then asked how his schedule would be for the following week without any notice he starts asking me if I am ripping him off, do I even have the pair of albinos. I told him I could send all his moneyback except for $100.00 to guarantee the purchase then when I was ready to ship he could pay then if that would ease his mind. He responded and told me I dont give a F**K what you have to do send my snakes tommrow if you dont Ill make your life hell. At this point I was pissed I told him he wasnt getting anything except his money back and hung up. Hank then called me back and tried to aploigize for the way he acted I then told him I wasnt finished dealing with him The deal is done. He told me I made a mistake and he would be dragging my name through the mud at this point I was done dealing with him I told him to do what he needed to do and go F**k his selfand hung up. At this point I could careless about him being mad if hewould have controlled his temper he would have had the snakes.

As far as I know, The buy it now is a legal contract. report this to reptibid.
Ever notice how there is a pattern where the person who gets reported on the BOI, always seems to reply by stating (to paraphrase) "I did everything right, this person is just pissed off and told me they were going to spread lies all over the place........."
You might also want to note on your reptibid ads, that you have problems sending hi dollar animals on the airlines. I for one would not have my high dollar animals shipped any other way, so if I knew someone couldn't ship this way I wouldn't even bother.
That's just me though.

Can you read? I didnt say I wasnt sending them by airlines I couldnt make it to the airport that week. I would have sent them US Airways the following week but he got pissed so he couldnt control his temper so thats that.
 
p.s. I forgot to mention....Maybe he was being a pain in the butt about the shipping, but you should have still gone through with the "contract". For that kind of money I would be concerned about your shipping problems also.
This seems to be he said/he said, and he said (OP) that you stated that your partner or whatever sold the animals, so if you did say that it would seem to me that was your "cover up" and your post about his demeaner is after the fact. These my word vs. his word are usually a mess, for both parties. All I can say is that if you would have fullfilled your legal obligation, I don't think this thread would even be here.

I have no idea what he is talking about. I didnt see everyone jump all over Rob from spidernballs when he had an arangement and reniged, but as soon as I get totally disrespected by this guy and refund his money within minutes
you guys run right over and start saying this and that. Thats fine I can live with Im the person who has to goto sleep at night and I know what happened
so next time I buy something from Allen Bosch or Peter Kahl and something comes up and they couldn't ship and I flip and curse and disrespect them it would be ok for them to refund my money but its wrong once i do it. This Is my last post on this subject. Everyone have a wonderful holiday I have a flight to catch.

I Guess Business is Good...

when you can pick and choose who you want to sell to. If you screw enough people over and the word gets out you may not be so lucky. It always surprises me the power the dollar has over some people's morals and business ethics. This Reptibid situation hits home because I've been in the same position as a buyer. I've won items more than once that the sellers whimped out on and never delivered. The last person that did so had a change of heart when a detective showed up at his door. Funny how laws exist and are followed by some only when forced to. Daniel, if what has been posted is true you could be in the hot seat whether you are aware of it or not.

I obviously can read, can you write? You said "it was going to be difficult for me to send the snakes airport to airport" then said what about next week, making it seem like what about another method next week. So how am I supposed to infer that from what you wrote. If you would have said I can't go to the airport today, I can go next week, then you can question my reading comprehension. I just thought that you couldn't ship airlines cause they wouldn't let you ship in a pampers box with no heat pack or insulation, so my bad, you just couldn't make it to the airport that day. Sorry
 
Those are two well known names. I do not think they would refuse to ship because of some friction due to shipping plans; I think you are in fact getting yourself in deeper by linking their names, (since they have absolutely nothing to do with your performance on this contract), to something like this.
 
No one is a joke here. There have been no flame posts. Quite the opposite: everyone is pointing out the fact that this may have been a contractual relationship and they have tried to show you that perhaps you might have had obligations here that you did not recognize.

. The BOI was made to explore events like this. You had the option of pausing, apologizing (I have, here on this board in the past reviewed my behavior and apologized for hasty behavior) and publicly made amends.

Instead you are choosing to belittle those who give their efforts to the BOI.
It is my opinion that you can go pretty far here before the door back closes forever. I think you still can make amends; but now you also have to make amends to those on the board whom you have belittled.

This sounds like you may have made an error in judgment. Stand up and do what is right; it is the first step back.

For people to come on her and try to use some scare tactics as far as "Detectives" come on. First of all Im not going to apoligize to this Hank person in private or on this board. I will not give respect when it wasnt given. I had an obligation to this guy before he started running his mouth. Once he insulted me and outright disrespected me he ended the contract for himself. Then I have members on here telling me Im in the wrong. Im sorry I have more respect for myself than to let someone talk all kinds of s**t to me. Then go ahead and bend over and kiss thier a**. It seems that the accussed on this board never could possiblly be right. What am I being accused of ? Giving someone a deal, then personal issues come up and they do. So im not able to take the package to the Airport to ship, and the seller refuses to work out another date. Then insults meand thinks he can call back and apoligize and everything will be OK. Sorry not here with me its not happening. Im sorry for Hank too he got a nice deal then he blew it away with his mouth. As far as apoligizing to BOI members thats not happening at this time either. Actually im done with this thread this site. Sorry my views arent the same as you guys, it looks as if this is not the place for me. You guys can do what youd like say whatever about me Ill keepmy two cents to myself and you guys have a blessed holiday. I dont need to and refuse to deal with this stuff. Next time someone your buying from cant do something for a particular reason curse them out and insult them thats the professional thing to do.
 
Since it seems this is so difficult to understand:

672.301 General obligations of parties.--The obligation of the seller is to transfer and deliver and that of the buyer is to accept and pay in accordance with the contract.

672.328 Sale by auction.--

(1) In a sale by auction if goods are put up in lots each lot is the subject of a separate sale.

(2) A sale by auction is complete when the auctioneer so announces by the fall of the hammer or in other customary manner. Where a bid is made while the hammer is falling in acceptance of a prior bid the auctioneer may in his or her discretion reopen the bidding or declare the goods sold under the bid on which the hammer was falling.

(3) Such a sale is with reserve unless the goods are in explicit terms put up without reserve. In an auction with reserve the auctioneer may withdraw the goods at any time until he or she announces completion of the sale. In an auction without reserve, after the auctioneer calls for bids on an article or lot, that article or lot cannot be withdrawn unless no bid is made within a reasonable time. In either case a bidder may retract his or her bid until the auctioneer's announcement of completion of the sale, but a bidder's retraction does not revive any previous bid.

(4) If the auctioneer knowingly receives a bid on the seller's behalf or the seller makes or procures such a bid, and notice has not been given that liberty for such bidding is reserved, the buyer may at his or her option avoid the sale or take the goods at the price of the last good faith bid prior to the completion of the sale. This subsection shall not apply to any bid at a forced sale.

So guess what, you engaged into a contract with the buyer, which is obviously legally binding, and then breached it.

Sorry to say, you cant simply engage into a contract and then decide you dont like the person so too bad, you'll just sell it to someone else. Keep that up, and you're going to find yourself getting sued.
