In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy DIAMOND DEN CORKY AND JAMMY JORDAM

I don't see how you sit and teach everyone you sell to the proper care on all the dragons you sell when you say you have someone else coming in to clean and care for your dragons. And yes it can still happen, sorry! I thought you said he was already drooling everywhere ect.. Where are the pic's? I would honestly like to see because you are making him sound like he is just about dead.

And it's sad, that you sell sooooo much what over 500 this year you said, yet you won't take this one poor dragon to the Vet so he can live or at least be put down by the Vet.

I'm NOT an expert but I have been breeding for more than 5 years..

Amanda

lol you call that a guarantee i give 10 days on my beardies a produce over a 1000 a year. and have sold 500 plus this year. and not a 1 has came back. sorry but a 2 day guarantee tell be someone is afraid to stand behind there reptiles. umm thats a little fishy to me :)

A 2-3 day gaurantee is average. Anything longer and the seller is asking for something bad to happen. What if you sold your last $1000 animal and it died on the 9th day? Do you keep the money on hold for the full 10 days?

i educate all that buy dragons from me and most get the lighting from a friend of mine. my dragons dont need to go to the vet. and i gave him some antibiotics to day but dont think this will clear up

first of i do not hold the money. because if something is wrong . i make sure i have another dragon.because that is what they wanted in the first place. so they would get another one of equal maybe even greater then the first if that is all i have. i have been breeding for a long time and anyone that has ever bought a dragon from me. is told up front that u cant return the dragon just because you changed your mind. and if something happens u will receive another dragon. educate the buyer first. send the best picture you can. and if the picture make the dragon more colorful. tell them it does. and most will send a pic that looks better then the dragon really is setting the buyers expectations from the get go work great. so all of the wannabe people on here that think they are drs & lawyers thanks

after my last post there is very little to say . did not post for all of u to be judge and jury. the bottom line is diamond den sent me a sick lizard that they new was sick and had know intention of replacing it ripped me off and people needed to know that and they will. so this really only concerns future buyer. that are worried about who they are buying from. so call me 937-416-0392 i will tell you my opinion. and what happened to me so all my friends already have been told about this. i think the good will win. but if the sick dragons does pass i will post it on my website for all the drs and wannbe lawyers to see and inspect. most on here dont have a clue. dont rip people off. because you may not like the result so have a great life mr jammie mrs corky small world

Actually, the original version was posted in the correct forum...but in the incorrect format. It was quickly closed, and removed when this one was submitted. There were no pictures - I think you may be thinking of the Zach Ashwood thread

SICK DRAGON I BOUGHT A ORANGE TRANS HEY HYPO BEARDED DRAGON FROM DIAMOND DEN FROM MR JAMMY JORDAN AND MRS CORKY JORDAN

Did they tell you where they bought it from? Tom Clarke has sold them many dragons and I have received sick dragons from him in the past. they also are flippin dragons from blood bank.

It would be nice ti find out the source of your sick dragon.

It is quite possible for a dragon to fall ill to a RI within the time frame you are talking about. Especially if compounded with relocation stress. In all honesty there is nothing that they are required to do. My guarantee is 2 weeks but it is up to each breeder to chose how long they will back the health of their animals. Corky chooses 48 hours and that is his choice. You are the only person to ever post any issues with his dragons and the fact that you have not even so much as checked on this dragon from the day you got it means that if it were sick when you received you would have no way of proving it. I have a job as well, active duty military typically pull 50-60 hours a week, but I still have time to check on my dragons physically every single day. If you decide to put the animal down that is your prerogative but you really cant bring this against the breeder when you agreed to their health guarantee by purchasing from them.

I would probably handle this differently, sending you a partial refund to cover the vet checkup and medication, but thats me and my business decisions. You cant fault Diamond-Den for theirs. You chose to do business with them knowing full well what their health guarantee was. In all honesty, as a long time breeder you should have hashed out a longer timeframe (cause you and I both know 48 hours is not long enough to know if an animal is healthy entirely or not).

Anyway, good luck with your dragon, I certainly hope you do not choose to put him down.

I have to agree with the others. You said yourself that the dragon was chasing the female around. How was that possible with it being so sick, and how did you see this when said you hadn't been paying attention? You should have checked out the Bearded when you got him in first thing especially with a 48 hour guarantee.

There was no vet trip. He had the meds on hand

On another note, I believe their 48 hour gaurantee is so the buyer can get it vet checked in that time frame. (Again, I'm not a beardie person, but it seems logical?)

Also Kevin, we actually ARE here to play the jury. Were here to weed out the BS and get to the facts. We don't even have proof the dragon is sick. He could be healthy and you just want another one of their dragons for free and are scamming THEM to get it.

ok brian i respect what u are saying but i had no clue they had a 48 hr guarantee. and it my fault i just thought it was longer like most breeders i deal with .it was never stated buy them to me. and i should of asked. i have never been on there website. and they have had other complaints just they did not post them on here. i should if listened to what i was told buy others just thought i would give them a chance. wow was i stupid. and jeff i have bred dragons nine year even a male dragon will try to breed even if he is sick . and illness can linger for a long time with minimal sign and then show up strong. but botton line. even if they did not realize he was sick. they still sent me a sick dragon. and was not going to try to resolve this. i chose a bad breeder or resaler not breeder. thats my fault but them was sending me a dragon they had had for a long time . a least that is what they said they should of seen he was sick this did not happen in 6 days. i would expect that out of normal person but not a breeder. but i will make sure this dont happen to as many people as i can. because real breeders dont have this problem thanks kevin

i can send the sick dragon back and they can se but they would just say he was ok because they dont have a clue what they are doing, not breeders just buyers trying to make a buck of someone elses work. all wee see that soon.and i dont want another dragon from them . just wanted what i paid for but health thanks kevin

ps. no i respect what some have to say but none are my judge and jury. this will all be seen over time. this will onlt hurt the ones who ripped me off thanks kevin

I'll admit that I did not read through the entire thread, but I did read through the emails. Kevin, if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't have dared approach the vendor with anything more than what happened, but NEVER would have demanded money in return. It is your responsibility to ask the right questions, which includes understanding what kind of a health guarantee animals come with. If you have been breeding for more days than they were old, you should know this. As it were, the vendor asked questions, you replied with answers that suggested that all was well. If all of your cages were "shined daily", you should have also had time to look at your new recruit.

Not to mention that all new animals should be quarantined on arrival at a new home to ensure optimal health. As it is, if they were chasing females around, one can assume that you housed him immediately with other animals. Big no-no on your part. It's also possible, therefore, that one of the other dragons passed on a recessive illness, but you wouldn't know because you did not have an isolation period.

Seems you have much learning to do, young pada-wan. If I were in Corky's shoes, I wouldn't give you a second thought, except maybe to put your name down on a "do not do business with" list....

Oh, and PS:

I found it disgusting and deplorable that you would refuse this animal vet services because you have already lost "so much money" from it.

That in itself sums up your person, in my opinion.
