In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy DIAMOND DEN CORKY AND JAMMY JORDAM

This post is all over the place. I think it's very unfortunate that you dropped so much money just to have it basically croak on you, but you really do need to show proof. Grab your celly or a camera and shoot the picture, it will get alot of people off your back.

And I think anyone that backs up their animals for such a short period of time, needs to really consider that 24, 48, 72 hrs is too short of a time frame to notice any BIG issues. Dragons can take up to a week to get settled in. And whether the OP read the TOS, shoulda made sure he did. My page reads TOS or SOL, I tell everyone I'm dealing with to go over it and if they need me to explain anything, just holler just to cover my ass in case they say "I didn't know about that..."

And Paul, you're such a smart ass... Ed, nice attempt in bringing Tom into this... Again, this thread is all over the place. Let this be between Kevin and Corky and Jammie.

lee it was no exception when i spoke with them it have been 3 days and i told them i put them together the night before. and he seem a little spunky thanks kevin

Hrmm, you said you where only able to watch him the first day, so how did you know he was trying to breed 3 days later when he was out of quarantine?

I was home to see him the first day. And I have been givin male that don't show sign fast and some people can't tell right away. It tough with a male they don't alway weez like the females do. And will still try to breed but tire fast. U may not of even known he was sick. If u were not letting him breed. I just don't need a sick dragon on me collection. Especially when he cost me 400 and a 150 female dragon. So I just want to know if there is something going to be done to make this right ? Thanks kevin

How sweet, Kevin decided to PM me. What a nice guy! No, Kevin, I am not one of Corky's friends posting for him. Yes, quarantine in my mind is in fact the issue. And, unless the lizard has died, you are not 'out' 500 dollars yet.

If you don't believe this screen shot, then show one of your own that shows mind is diffrent please.

Ugh, he is very unprofessional and very rude to top it off.

Also quarantine for only 2 days is just nuts, might want to look that up lol.

Sorry I know it's totally not a laughing matter but some of his ideas of things and just the things he says crack me up a little.

I stand by what I said before, I do not in any way feel Corky owes him anything.
Prove it by showing good clear pic's, a Vet bill, or something.

Kevin I'm sorry and I'm not being a smart ass but anyone who actually breeds reptiles "should" definitely know that you have to quarantine new animals for more than 2 days, that's just silly.

Quarantine:
This is isolation on purpose, enforced to prevent the spread of a contagious disease from the isolated individual to the other individuals -animals or humans. The quarantine for reptiles has to be at least 2 month (6 months is recommended) and animals have to be monitored very closely the next 4 months.

Call us nuts, but we always do the isolation for close to 2 months. But that's just us, well I know many others who Quarantine that long as well..

well i cant find the email believe what you will. that is not the way it was worded. it will all come out in the wash. overtime people with start getting tired of this. and post there problems with these people

One of the issues may very well be quarantine. As you specifically stated yourself, most reptiles can harbor diseases without showing symptoms until a certain point. Stress, such as a different or improper environment, may very well do the trick. And yes, symptoms can develop within 24- 48 hours of looking "normal"

Two days of quarantine is pointless, FYI. You might as well not even bother. Recommended quarantine periods are anywhere from 1 - 3 months. Also, when handling/cleaning, you always clean your newest/sickest animal last. Wash your hands in between each animal.

BTW, with all the time you've spent going back and forth, there's no way whatsoever that you can prove the animal is actually sick? You expect us to just take your word for it? I'm sorry, that's not how things work around here.

Proof is required if respect is requested. :)

that s fine that u do that. but i dont if i think the animals are healthy. but i have not done that for 9 years and all has been well for me. thanks kevin

was just wondering why u were hammering me about quarantine. when that was not the issue sorry i pmed u wont happen again

Ummm...... yees..... it is...... how do we know that you didn't give it a RI by your husbandry?

Also, I LOVE that the seller can post a screen shot but you can't post a pic to save your case

dont expect anyone to take my word on it. but i have the animal and u all dont. wish the people would step up that have emailed me but wont post. and want to be left anonamous so this should end .

:iagree: 100% but none of us have any idea why he won't just take the pics so it can all be cleared up and then we will know for sure if it is in fact sick. :shrug01:

i had the email dont have a clue where it went looked in every folder its gone. guess u are right diamond den is all your but me and mine never again thanks for smacking me around lol

Hrrm, so once again you cant prove what your saying, but i can, that seems to be a reoccurring thing here, also if you go to the first page and look at that email it says the same thing but why would i have edited it then when it didnt come up till now, plus you didnt say anything was incorrect in the original emails...?

This thread is just painful to read. It's absolutely ridiculous to post a "BAD GUY" thread with zero proof whatsoever. Kevin, you keep making comments like "it will all come out in the wash" the only thing coming out "in the wash" is that you think everyone should just take your word for gold and quit questioning your questionable practices (i.e. not quarantining). Also, not to pick on you but the all-caps posting and bad grammar doesn't help your case either.

Reading this thread I haven't had any bad ideas about Corky/Jammy, just you. I'm sure I'm not the only one. If you would just post some proof you might have a bit more leverage on the issue, but the fact is that you didn't notice the dragon was sick within their guarantee period so there is nothing you can do. For all of us over here on Fauna that dragon could very well be healthy and happy, without proof we have no reason to believe the dragon is indeed sick.
