In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone with dealings with Diamond Reptile breeders (Florida)........good or bad???????????
Thanks
Bob Silva

I have dealy with Mitch Byrnes (owner) in the past and never had a problem.

Regards.

I'll vouch for Diamond to be a good company to do business with. I received a black and white spitting cobra (Naja siamensis) from Mitch, and he was in perfect shape and ate like a charm. Absolutely no problems with him. Also, Mitch was kind enough to take a sick baby cobra I had and treat it over the course of a weekend to try to get it back on its belly. I believe that without his help, that snake would be a good as freezer bait. So again, two thumbs up to Diamond.

Last year I received a large cobra from Diamond/Mitch. It was packaged in a super heavy military amo box instead of just a shipping crate, so right off the bat the freight cost me double what it should have and I was not really happy about that. Once I opened the crate and took the animal out of the bag, the "Super nice" "perfect" "captive bred and raised" snake that was inside went into a cage where I could see it's spine and how thin and dehydrated it was and surprise surprise, it had internal parasites. I wormed it and fed it and after many months of care with us it was almost as good as Mitch represented it to be at the begining. I don't know if that was standard operating procedure or a fluke from Mitch. I will never have the chance to find out as that was the only time I will ever be dealing with him.

I will say that after talking to some other dealers in florida after this deal with him. several people had some very derrogatory things to tell me about Mitch and his animals. I have never been to his place and have never seen his animals other than what I got from him so I don't know how much of that is true. I do know that after the animal I received from him, it fits with what I was told. Evan Stahl
