• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

"What the Hell are you talking about?"

Yeah, I know of a few people that did...think I was one of them, lol. The name looks familiar; but the subject message didn't indicate any reason I should read the emails, so I deleted them

Might have been fun to lead her on a little to see what she had to offer. :yesnod:

I got the same email as well. Is she a member on fauna? I was going to look her up (not for any personal gain just to see who she was!! : )but didnt get a chance.

I got the email as well, and just deleted it. It smacks of one of those Nigerian scammer emails. Looks like quite a few of us were probably spammed.

Be careful about responding to any e-mail like that. I don't know exactly what they do with the info, or how they do what they do, but I've had friends reply to similar spams and all of the sudden, their e-mail had been hacked into! After they gained that access to my friend's e-mail, they started using it to contact everyone in his address book (including me!), trying to scam everyone from money, saying they had gotten stuck in some other country and please western union them some cash to help them get home, or something to that effect. Safest thing to do is just hit "delete".

That happened to a friend of mine. It messaged her whole address book saying she was stranded in England. Needless to say I didn't send "her" the $2,500.00 being requested.

Yeah, I think your friend and mine got scammed by the same person/group. I knew something was up just as soon as I opened my message from my buddy. First of all, this guy does NO world traveling. On top of that, his e-mails usually start out something like, "Hey Bro! What's up?" and this one started, "Well hello there. I hope this e-mail finds you well and rested." :rofl:

I got also this e-mail. Shed seem nice. I send her most hurriedly $2,500 for to see us meet at location we talked about soon.
Caitn't wait!
