    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was wondering about this guy?? I see him posting around here and was intrested in a snake he had for sale.. Also I saw where someone posted he aquired a pied ball python on less than honorable terms.. So if anyone has any information on DJSlurp1200 let me know..

I'd stay away from him. If you go over to BP.net and do a search on DJSlurp you will see some not so nice things from him and things that he did to others over there (ie: stalking, harassing people and one very well liked and known breeder who went out of his way to help him out in a few cases)

I'd post links, but don't have time before work right now. Maybe someone from BP.net can do so for ya?

Steve - I'm not quite sure what kind of answer you wanted...this is an inquiry about Steve Kelley (DJSlurp1200, C&S Exotics). The OP stated that he was interested in something Steve had for sale...Steve stated that he had nothing for sale. That means that either the OP is mistaken, Steve already sold the animal in question, Steve is lying about not having something for sale (that wasn't an accusation), or the OP was lying about that part & just wanted to get Steve in the spotlight (also not an accusation). I suppose there may be other alternatives, but those are the ones that jump out at me.

Generally speaking, the subjects of inquiries don't come on and say "Hey, I'm great. Buy from me" (there have been a few exceptions :rolleyes: ) or "You'd better watch out, because I'm pretty much a scumbag". If there is something you want Steve to respond to, perhaps a direct question is the easiest means to that end*


*Let's not turn this thread into an extension of the others...unless it turns out that Steve K has a business interest in that venture. If he is simply a moderator on another forum, it shouldn't really be an issue (should it? :shrug01: )
 
Let me restate that last: the fact that he has been involved in the other threads has been pointed out. If the questions to be posed have to do with THAT business, then they should be asked in those threads - unless it turns out that Steve K is more than a moderator for their forums.

My response was that there were several things brought up about him by the OP and someone who responded.
He totally ignored them and all he said was he has nothing for sale.
If the concerns listed by the OP and the people replying are legitimate, they should factor into whether or not you want to deal with the person in question.
Same applies if they are unfounded. Normally accusations would be rebutted and not ignored.
 
Thanks for the explanation, SPJ (sorry, but there are two Steve's in this thread).

My initial response started out as a question from me the poster, and right in the middle of it I realized that I could potentially be creating something that me the moderator would be inclined to squelch. Had this not been the BOI, I would have just gone back in and changed it
 
I have no animals for sale... And have had none listed for sale anywhere... It clearly appears that this thread was simply made up/Stemmed to hurt my image since I'm clearly associated with Reptster.com being a Site Admin and working the booth with David at some of the shows.

I made a deal for the pied in which both party's were happy... That deal happened over a year ago... It is nobody elses business other than mine and that person. Both myself and the other party have been happy with the end result of the transaction and even to this day we still talk! End of Story.

The breeder mentioned... I won't disclose their name out of respect... I shared a disagreemant with, but since then have spoken to over the phone a couple of times and we have both put the past behind us. I have even forwarded a sale to him from some good friends of mine and THAT Breeder took care of them and it was appreciated and did not go unnoticed or unthanked. Thanks again to that person. you know who you are.

I had heard some things and wanted to know if they were true... I mean come on bro.. Your telling me I didn't see a black pastel female for sale that you posted??? I must've been imagining it.. Thats it I was dreaming it all up.. Why would you lie about something like that... I haven't even been following the Repster thread that much.. I usually follow threads like that every chance I get, but I haven't had the time to keep up with the barrage of posts.. But Steve don't call me a liar and say you didn't have a black pastel female for sale I think she was around 600 grams.. Does that jog your memory at all... Well at least I know I don't want to buy her now... The way you've came at me on this inquiry shows how professional you are.. Thanks for showing your true colors before I sent you any money...

I also think you put in your post you didn't need her any more because you aquired a 100% het pied black pastel male, and was going in a different direction with your project. I've never had a problem with you steve, I've even talked to you on youtube.. And now you come at me like this.. Calling me a liar and making up a post because you posted on another thread.. I'm not that petty...

Steve did have a Black Pastel female up for sale on the Reptster classifieds as recently as 2 weeks ago from what I recall.
 
People need to get screenshots of this stuff! SCREEN SHOT EVERYTHING, Dont mention you have it, but when stuff like this happens ( when its something you are interested in) Get one, and just save it. It would really help in situations like this to catch people off guard.

I DID have a snake for sale... I posted that ad a couple of weeks before the Daytona show and she sold a few weeks ago. Hence why I was saying I had nothing for sale and no ads placed anywhere else...
