In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Do it because you love it!

It is good to sometimes step back and admire your animals simply for the wonderful creatures they are regardless of market swings or trends. Not the best cell phone pictures.

Is there a ball python of yours that you will love regardless of market trends? Lets see a picture!

Beautiful Robert :)

Let me know how close I am, I've been practicing.

From the top: banana pinstripe hypo, pastel lesser, banana (or pastel banana?), super pastel lesser, banana spinner?

1. banana pinstripe hypo (close)
2. pastel lesser (correct) (het.clown as well, accents the blacks more in my opinion)
3. banana (correct)
4. super pastel lesser (close)
5. banana spinner (close)

This is why I can't give clues, folks get too close on their own anyways.:)

Oh duh, I think I got this. 1) banana blast hypo (banana pastel pin hypo), 4) pastel lesser calico (didn't notice the white sides initially, and not sure if it's blushed enough to be super pastel).

5 I'm still stuck, unless it's a spinner blast banana or a desert banana.

I was cleaning last night and this girl had just shed. I've seen her a hundred times but I still just sat and admired her for a minute. Nothing fancy, but still beautiful to me.

The piebald gene is the whole reason I got into ball pythons. As a graduate student I couldn't afford to dish out the $850-1200 they were going for at the time, so I bought a pair of 100% hets, waited three years, and crossed my fingers. Got four eggs and the very last egg to pip had a pied (I had almost given up hope!). She's a gorgeous one too... at 1200 grams, she is brighter than some of the pastel pieds I've seen. Couldn't be happier. The wait was worth it!

Yes sir, just a plain ol' cinnamon.
With no hints I'm stuck, I think I'll wait for some other guesses.

Nothing wrong with an ol' cinnamon. I hatched out my first "plain" cinnamons this year and thought they were great!

1. Banana Spinner Blast
5. banana Pastel Pinstripe
Close on both.
Okay Nick & Jessie, a little clue: no hypo, pastel or spider. Both of you will laugh when you find out what is in #1.
Jessie is that a Het Red Axanthic bp and a soul sucker cat?

Going to have to agree on this one Vanessa! I think I first saw these on Pete Kahl's(?)website back when they were $20k each.

Nothing crazy but still one of my favorite babies this year. Sorry for the cell phone pic
Okay Steve = Vanilla Pastel Yellowbelly?
