    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

How did he pork me you ask?
Well, simply said he advertised animals 4 large(over 1400gm) adult females that where CB. After further discussions via phone and email we agreed on a price and shipping as well as the size of the animals. The day came for delivery and guess what I got, 4 medium (900gm largest size), WC, scarred, covered in ticks, and very weak snakes. I called right away and put together some pictures showing these problems. I sent those over to The Python Hunter (Bill). Bill initially offered $200 back but based on what we paid we really just wanted our money back and we would send back the animals. Well the story goes screwy. Bill agrees to send back our Money but needs 1 week to get the money back together. We agree not to send the snakes back until the money comes. 1 week comes and Bill decides he doesn't believe he should give up any money and disappears. We try doing the right thing about getting our money back by doing the appropriate processes and that is where it stands, but as you probably know this is slow and not always going to happen.

Sorry be very wary. We have spoken more than 1/2 dozen people now who have this same sort of problem with Bill. So be very aware. Ship first, send money last.
 
Full names of those involved (on both sides), addresses, dates, emails, payment methods, amounts, shipping methods . . .the list goes on and on. All of these pieces of information would accomplish two things: a) help us help you recover whatever you can, and b) help future people know who it is exactly that cannot be trusted.

Not everyone knows who "Bill the Python Hunter" is right off the bat! Please fill in the blanks as much as you can.

This man speaks of only lies. To get to the truth of it. The snakes were 1400-1700 grams. I sent him pictures of the snakes on the scales. LIE # 1. I told him 2 of the snakes were CB and the other two were not. Lie #2. I have sold normal snakes to maybe 2-3 other people not 1/2 a dozen. And NO ONE else has has this problem. I get an email when the snakes arrive "The snakes look fine Bill, Thanks". Next day. One snake has an eye infection. Next day. All the snakes have ticks. Wow, do the lies keep coming. I have all email contacts, so i can verify that House of Scales is just another guy trying to measle money off of people.

Two things:

First -- You need to use your full name on each and every post here on the BOI. It's site rule, and violation of it will garner you warning points and get your posts deleted. The easiest way make sure your name appears every time is to modify your signature to include your complete name. You can do that by going to User CP and changing it there.

Second -- Please post the emails (especially where he told you the animals looked good to him), if you have them. If this person is lying, we all need to see what sort he is.

We just want to say that over the last couple of months we have had two very nice transactions take place with Ted Williams at the House of Scales. Both transactions went smoothly, Ted was happy with the animals that we sold him, and he came back to us again when we had more snakes that he was interested in.
We do not know The Python Hunter (Bill) and we are not casting any judgments towards him. We just want to let everyone know about our experience with Ted Williams and how pleased we were to do business with him. He is a pleasure to speak with on the phone, and he has been nothing but professional while dealing with us. Thank you.

House of Scales

Well I can't comment on "The Python Hunter", but I can comment on Ted and Chad of "House of Scales".

Approximately 3 months ago, these gentlemen purchased 1.1 VPI line 100% Het Axanthic Ball Pythons from me for a considerable amount of money. Prior to this deal, I had no knowledge or relationship with either of these gentlemen.

Bottom line, they received these animals, called me when they received them to let me know the animals looked great, and that's pretty much the whole story.

Again, I'm not attempting to disparage "The Python Hunter", but I'd be very surprised if Ted and Chad would attempt to "play games" on an order that was several hundred dollars, when they could have easily played games with me for several thousand dollars. Just does not make sense to me.

Ted and Chad are very credible guys in my book, and I would not hesitate to ship them any amount of animals. Keep me posted on any baby Axanthics you hatch out guys !
