In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Do you feed your BD fruit?

I know most people focus more on the vegetables and sometimes leave fruits out. I have from day one always fed fruit (if available) with the vegetables and never had any problems.

Mine seem to like raspberries and blueberries the best. I feed cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, bananas, grapes and mandarin oranges as well. Never in large amounts or all at the same time though. They get a small portion of 1 or 2 fruits daily and seem to enjoy the change of pace. :)

Have tried ours on various types similar to you but Millie wont touch it at all. Spike will but only occasionally and tends to prefer grapes and apple to anything else. Bananas are a huge no, you should see his face when I've tried him with that, he's like a little kid sticking his nose in the air, closing his eyes and turning his head away!

We'll occasionally handfeed fruits like grape halves, apple slices and others that will turn brown quickly and then just toss different berries and such into the salads sometimes. It all depends on what is in season at the time.

We also do other weird stuff like grind seeds up occasionally (pumpkin, sunflower and such) and mix them into the greens. :)

I haven't fed mango in ages. I think I'm going to pick one up next time I'm at the store and suprise em with it.

i feed my beardie whatever he will eat.
his diet consists mainly of crickets, super worms, vitamin dust, and salad with various greens, carrots and sometimes peas.

bacon
pinkies
grapes
strawberries
rasberries
blue berries (totally flips out for them)
cantalope
cockroaches (huge ones)
assorted flying insects (no lightening bugs, or anything with pestisides of course)
