In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Doc Walker, reptidoc, Dr. Daryl G. Walker = buyer beware

Yep, and he will be getting no more chances from me. I was scared to death before this little guy ever got here, and was so hoping he'd be ok, but with all the people who have had babies regurge then die...I fear the worst for this baby.

The one thing that makes me hopeful is that he is still active and trying to strike when my friend or I try to touch him. I won't be handling him anymore when I go see him-I have my own collection to worry about, so I will just watch him. I asked my friend if he is still comfortable with keeping him in his house or if he'd rather find somewhere else for him to finish out the quarantine. He said he's fine with him in the house.

And I try to go over at least every other day. I still have control over when/how he's fed.

I e-mailed Doc right after I saw the regurge in the cage, and had gotten home to tell him.

Well, I have to post an update...not a good one either.
My baby has regurged his friday feeding today.

Sorry to hear about the regurge.
Considering, I know that it is "scary".
Let's hope (fingers crossed) that it is just a coincidence (IOW due to something else) and not due to whatever has caused, &/or has been causing, the baby deaths of those Doc customers who have come forward.

In seeing whatever info has been provided ...
It really does seem to be a roulette wheel, of chance, as to whether or not someone will get a thriving hatchling from Doc.

Doc states only "a couple of missed meals" (at least in one case where the hatchling died).
However, a healthy hatchling is not going to end up on the Grim Reaper's list over just a couple of skipped meals.
So, if the problem is, truly, a feed issue, it would seem that Doc is minimizing it and that there must be more missed meals than just a couple. Either that, or the feedings are way too spread apart.
OTOH If it is true, that there are only a couple of skipped meals (with proper feed system/days), ~that~ would raise my concern of its, possibly, being something else.

If Doc has a very poor documentation/feed system, &/or is actually making babies go without food (any at all or for very extended periods between meals), he need not minimize it. Otherwise, it brings into question what else it could be.
OTOH If he is being truthful, about "only a couple of skipped meals" (with proper feed system/days), he, himself, should be quite concerned and should be taking serious measures in determining exactly what it is (since it would not be due to feed issues).

In either scenario, Doc must take this matter seriously and must rectify it.
We can only hope he will because, thus far, it has not been shown that he is &/or will.

That goes for me too Angie. Maybe its due to something with his shed schedule?? Gawd! I hope its that! I am still hopeing for the best but... Well, the snakes from Doc really have an aweful track record. I did have the one who ate twice and then regurged and died. :( I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!

Well, I have to post an update...not a good one either.

My baby has regurged his friday feeding today.

Roll back to VERY small meals for at least a month. You need to get the digestive system stablilized before going back to regular sized meals. When I had babies regurge, I often had to resort to pinky mice HEADS for a month to get them back on track.

He had been getting a very small pinkie every 5 days. I'm going to have to start giving the heads for a while-My friend and I talked about going to every 7 days
