    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Does Age and size matter?

I was wondering if the age and size matters when combining in the same cage enclosure 2 or more beardies? One is an older male, very tame, docile and seems non territorial and has lived alone most of his adult 4 yr old life. Now I will be introducing a sub adult, female? and am hoping it wont be too small that the older one injures it. Can anyone shed light on this for me? Thanks? I want to do the right thing.
 
She needs to be at least a year old before being put in with a male, as he will most likely breed her. If you aren't ready to deal with eggs (and possbile egg binding in the female) keep them seperate. You will need a second cage anyway, in case the male starts bullying too much and the female won't eat.

One other thing I would recommend is to take everything out of his cage, replace the substrate, clean all of his perches and bowls and such, and rearrange the tank when you put everything back in, put the female in first and let her get used to the tank, maybe for 10 minutes, then add the male. This will break up any 'territory' of his so he may be more accepting of a roommate. Have a pair of leather gloves nearby (or be wearing them) as you introduce the two in case you need to seperate them, and one tries to bite you--dragon bites HURT.
