    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

has anyone heard anything good/bad about a guy named jeff turner? his email adress is [email protected]. I am thinking about purchasing an animal from him and would like to find out how reliable he is. Im sure hes a good guy , but u can never be too cautious
 
My experience

I have thought about this for a couple of days, and I need to make this post. Earlier this year, I was involved in a horrible trade and started a thread. It turned into a pissing contest, and I got nothing out of it. I am still out some nice snakes. I decided that it wasn't worth the trouble, but have come to realize that if I don't stand up and speak, then I will become one of the nameless masses! (we can't have that can we?) I replied to several of Jeff's ads on this site on 8/16/04. I specifically asked about the 2 1/2 ft. Brooks king, The 2 ft. Apricot Pueblan, and a couple of Corns. He replied that the corns were gone, but the others were still available. He quoted me overnight shipping. I sent pmt. and he was to ship the following Tuesday. In the meantime, I asked him to please let me know if the deal on the corns fell through, as I would take them also. A day or so later, I noticed the corns back up for sale. When Tuesday night came with no tracking #, I sent him an email inquiry. He sent me the following reply...


Yes, but one small problem. I wasn't able to ship them next day to your area. My post office could only garuntee day after delivery. They will be there Thurs. I gave them water and everything before I sent them off so they should be ok. But let me know if you have any problems.

I missed the Mailman Thursday, and had to go to the Post Office and sign for the snakes. (I thought long and hard before doing this, but had to) Anyway, the animals were fairly well packaged, a little hot, but had survived the trip. Both have since eaten and look good. The only problem is that the 2 1/2 ft. Brooks is less than 20 inches, and the Pueblan is 14". I will let everyone draw their own conclusions.

I just had the same experience with this @#$%^$##%&^!!!!
He sold me a 2 ft. female Anery (listed on 7-28-04 w/pic). I
thought "well, he said in add it is 2 ft.- so it must be a pic. taken
farther away." YEAH!!! I was gullable! He supposedly had other
adult corns for about the same price, so I figured he must be
legit.
I don't figure that any more. I received the snake (hoping for pos. breeding in spring?), and it can't be more than 5 months old
at the utmost. I also have 2 month old hatchlings here myself!!!
This snake measures 14-14.5 inches. That's almost 1/2 of his listed 2 foot in the add.
When I e-mailed him about this, (and the fact that the snake was a constant "STRIKER" at HUMANS), his only reply was it was
the pictured snake!!!
He had hatchlings for $15 + ship. I believed that is what I recieved.
ANYONE looking at these complaints should not bother with his
sales. You will not get what you were promised!!!!!!!!!
I don't know how a Con-Artist can get away with blatantly lying
and FALSE ADVERTISING. ISN'T THIS A FEDERAL OFFENSE THAT DEALS WITH PRISON TIME??????
Don't deal with him is MY PERSONAL OPINION AND EXPERIENCE.
