    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Does anyone know FrontPage?

If there's anyone out there that has Frontpage down pat, and is willing to spend some time with me in IM please let me know. This program is kicking my butt! :bawling:

I have very limited experience with Frontpage. I gave up on it years ago and just learned to write my own HTML. Sorry, but I guess the bump back to the top won't hurt :)

Danni, have you tried mozilla's web editor? its kind of like front page, but more simpler IMO. It's included with mozilla web browser. It can be found at www.mozilla.org. There are other editors that maybe simpler as well. Try searching yahoo/google for "WYSIWYG HTML Editor" (WYSIWYG means "What You See Is What You Get", in case you didnt know) This will get you alot of programs similar to frontpage.

I Only whish i could help you on frontpage, but the last time i used it was back in 1998. I occasionally use mozilla's free webpage editor to make quick webpages for certain sites and i always found it to be simple and easy.

Also, if you still need help with frontpage have you looked online? I know there are several manuals and tutorials out on the internet for frontpage.

Frontpage results in a website that is very bloated with extra code. You're much better off learning the basic HTML code and writing it yourself. There's numerous how to websites and tutorials online that will teach you all the basics.
HotDog is another good editor that I use. I still basically code by hand even with HotDog, but it is handy to keep from having to type the same commands over and over.
Once you know the commands, Note Pad is all you really need, the editors are just time savers.

The older versions of FP did but I find the 2 newest versions are alot better about "extra additives." There are some things that get added still but they are easily removed by going into the HTML mode.

Thanks guys, I will check out Mozilla. :)

As for HTML.... I still can't get over my fear of it. Usually I jump at the chance to learn something new, but that just looks plain SCARY :)
