    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Have you ever sold anything before?? People BS, kids BS, and 90% of the people on here are buyers, not sellers, all of which have probably BS'd on a sale.

If no one will leave a deposit, MOVE ON!! It's YOUR fault for waiting, it's YOUR fault for holding the animal, and it's YOUR fault for considering it sold. Trying to twist a buyers arm through a BOI is useless.

Nothing is final until I have money in my hand and even if it's a deposit, and they don't come back, OH WELL! More money in my hand, for what? Waiting? This is an animal, not drugs you have to rush out of the door.

I can't believe some people. What do you expect FREE MONEY? This is the "work." Do the work to earn the money or get the hell out of the hobby. We have too many pieces of crap in it to worry about people in the grey-area.

I agree, however, what I am understanding is the OP has noticed this behaviour towards other sellers in general. Maybe there was a little arm twisting, but the buyer does have a track record of doing this.
 
Just so the readers know I am on great terms with josh at outback reptiles, I'm right in the middle of a trade with him. He's waiting to ship my snake because its deep in shed. Hopefully you all can see that the lady accusing me is pushy and bending this all out of proportion.

Maybe she is, maybe she isn't. I would recommend being a little more clear with your typing and be sure you are on the same page with your buyer/seller. In my opinion some of these accusations have been caused by miscommunication. Be a little patient and just make sure your both on the same page and you should be ok.

The thing that I am not understanding is that the OP never said that she needed to wait for the e check to clear, yet you state that in your comment??? She said that she was at work and as long as you didnt cancel anything that she would remove her INQUIRY... Maybe Im just a little confused :yesnod:

This will be my last post here, as this was only supposed to be an inquiry thread, and not a good.bad guy thread.

First of all, There was never any extortion. At the time I asked the buyer to continue the transaction, he had it in pay pal limbo. I was not able to legally move forward as pay pal had this in limbo. The buyer never cancelled the transaction through pay pal. Had he done that, I would have moved forward. He kept it there until pay pal took 2 weeks to cancel it, so legally I couldn't move on to sell it to someone else as if the pay pal cleared (regardless of what the buyer said) and I sold the snake to someone else then I would have been accused of selling the same item twice. I also could not cancel the transaction because it was in pay pal limbo and they said I couldn't cancel it.

Your comment was that if no one leaves a deposit then move on. The problem was that the buyer paid in full via echeck in pay pal. It took pay pal almost 2 full weeks to finally close this out as non payment.
 
In the end I think Alanna had every right to post this. I mean, this all started out as an inquiry, nothing more, nothing less. Hussler1984 proved what he is about. Enough said.
 
I'm glad this was brought back up, but I'm starting to think this thread was undeserved. Please correct me if I am wrong, but didn't you give the buyer until Friday the 18th to pay and you posted this thread on Wednesday the 16th? Scroll down and read the bold print and take note as to what day this was posted.

Also, every email has a date except for the email below.... why was this date removed?

This guy Hussler1984 is awesome!!!! I bought a Frog from him, he even cut the price since I drove to get here. He showed us his snakes and they were amazing. They were very healthy and well taken care of. The set up he has them in are very very clean much better than any breeder Ive seen, including exotic store. He keeps them in a nice warm room so they are always at a nice warm temp. I was very very impressed. If I bought snakes it would be from him. I love the frog I bought from him. Great breeder and Seller!!! 5 thumbs up
 
Just finished a trade with Collin Hussey and it went flawless! No snags, no backing out, or beating around the bush. He is a very nice person to deal with. Snakes are in the best of shape and arrived professionaly packed. We are very satisfied with our trade. Wouldn't hesitate in a heartbeat to do business with him again. Thanks again Collin!
 
Just purchased another animal from Collin. She is even better than he described. Again, flawless and professional throughout our transaction. We couldn't be happier with her!
