    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Does each leo need their own hide box?

I read somewhere that this is the case - is this true?

When I kept them several years ago, I had 4 females in the same tupperware box without any problems.

I will have 1 male and three females in a 29 gallon. I will need to get much smaller boxes if they all need their own box.

Does the male need his own?
Can the girls share?

None of the leo were raised together.

I prefer to have a hide box for each, OR, a large enough one that they aren't packed in like sardines. I don't know if it is absolutely needed, but I feel its a matter of comfort for them. I will tell you, that on my large colony tank there were 4 females and there were 5 hides, 2 humids, a dry on on the warm side and 2 on the cool side, and there were times all 4 were squeezed into one, and other times when each hide had its own occupant....

I also use several hides when their is more than 1 leo, heck I even give the singles a few to choose from.

With a 1 leo set up I use 1 humid, 1 dry warm, 1 dry cool and 2 - 3 toilet tissue rolls here and their.

With say 4, I use 2 humid, 1 dry warm 2 dry cool and a few toilet tissue rolls here and there.

Same was with Cory, they will sometimes pile up in one hide and other times be in all different hides.
