    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

can anyone suggest a reputable site where i can some information about dogs and where i can get them ? im really intrested in getting a chiwawa

I'm not sure if you're looking for a show quality dog or breeding stock, but if not I'd recommend petfinder.org, which provides lists of shelters and rescues for your area. If you ARE looking for high end animals, I believe the American Kennel Club website has links to kennels which cater to certain breeds.

Good luck in your search!

excuse my ignorance but can you tell me the difference between show dog and a breeding stock :)

I think that since your questions seem so fundamental, you need do a lot more research on dog care and husbandry before getting any type of dog.

BTW, this site does have a dog forum. Questions specific to dogs might get a better response if posted in that forum where dog knowledgable persons would be expecting questions.

Show quality means that the dog adheres very closely to breed standards and is (at least superficially) suitable for being shown (dog shows). The fees charged for show quality pups/dogs are higher than for pet quality.

Pet quality means that a dog has certain faults that make it unsuitable for being shown. They are still excellent pets. Can still be registered with a breed registry (ex AKC)

Please note, MOST dogs are NOT suitable for breeding. Only those individuals that win top awards in conformation and/or performance have the genetic quality to be parents.

I would imagine you would have better luck googling it if you spelled it "CHIHUAHUA".
