In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've been peaking in on the first two clutches that I just cut the rest of the eggs on for the past two week. Over the past few days I forgot to look in on the third clutch because I was focused on the others.

Well, I checked on it tonight and found the first one to be on it's way out!!! I guess I should cut the other two eggs in this clutch?

Thank you!!

Here's the other three.

This one had it's head out within a few min of cutting. You can see it's had to been out more because of all the perilite it's took back to the egg with it. He/she thinks it's so smart.... lol This is the one I hope is a boy, it's color seems to be the closest to mom's.

I think this one is saying, "No! I'm not coming out! You can't make me!"

Hi there!
I do usually slit the other eggs in the clutch when I get pips, but I would suggest to leave more of the shell there- well for my area at least. Removing too much of the shell in drier areas like mine could cause some issues. Just a thought.

Huge congrats on 3 clutches hatching- all at once! WOW are you excited or what?!

Thank you!!! :D

Thank you, yes we are very excited about our babies.

Both of the NSs have a 6 quart full of water without a lid sitting near the fan. This keeps the moisture up in the incubator for containers that don't hold their moisture well and for eggs like these that were cut. ;)

Thank you!!

LOL And another clutch of 7 that should hatch any day now as well, should have been 11, but 4 eggs went bad out of that clutch early on.

We had 70+ eggs laid between 2/14 and 3/25 so we've got a few more popping out over the next month. Still have some girls that we waiting for them to lay and a few more that we're hoping ovulate.
