I'll keep this short as possible. I've done my share of buying and selling on this site. Those who have done business with me know I'm straight up. Unlike this guy Don Dunbar. I called Don on the night of Aug.15th to inquire about a snake he had for sale in the classifieds. A female black tailed cribo to be exact, which at this time is still up for sale. He seemed like an o.k. guy. I had him text me his address so I could send him a cashiers check. He wanted $125.00 for shipping. I've done shipping all over the U.S. and knew that was high. I was able to have her shipped for $82.00, including insurance. Now I know he was fishing for more money. He provided me with box size and weight so I sent him a pre paid Fed Ex shipping label and a postal money order for $450.00. He called me a couple times asking if I sent money because he needed it "now". He recieved the money on Aug 18 at around 11:00am est. Tracking confirmed it was signed by D. Dunbar. He text me and aknowledged as well. He said he would ship her on Monday Aug. 20th as it was his day off. I text him the morning of the 20th to confirm he was shipping her. He called me and said, " I was soaking her and she escaped." He should have given my money back or offered me another animal of equal value right then. Giving him the benefit of the doubt I told him call me when he found her. He said not to panic and if she didnt turn up we would work something out. I text him Aug. 21 saying I would give a week for her to turn up. After that we will have to work something out. On Aug 28th I called and left a voicemail. I left a text as well. I gave him 48hrs to respond. Nothing. I called him today and left a voicemail, pm and text to inform him this was going on the boards. I admit I was ticked off when I left the message. The last contact he made was Aug. 21 with a text that said, "No luck yet." If you know this guy, tell him to do the right thing. If you dont know him.....keep it that way!
